INTRODUCTION
Organization behavioral is the study related to the way human behave within the
company or interact with each others in order to complete their respective task. Organization
culture plays an crucial role in motivating employees to work in team rather than individual for
achievement of company goals. Manager make use of different motivation theories in order to
influences employees to work hard for growth and success of organization. This report is based
on jaguar land Rover which is multinational automotive company started its operation in 18
January, 2008. The company has over 43224 employees that are working in coordinate manner
so that better experienced can be delivered to customers. Furthermore, jaguar land Rover deals in
luxury and sports utility vehicles and has earned around £25.8 billion of revenue. This report has
covered crucial information related to culture model, the way culture contribute in better
communication and motivation of employees. At last, it has explained about the organization
culture has lead in growth and success of firm.

1. Identify of organization culture at Jaguar land Rover
Organization culture is place where employees work so it represents the way they behave
with each other or their shared value, ethics and belief while working in the company. In another
words organization culture can be state as collection of expectation, practices and values that
inform the way all team member need to work in the firm. Handy organizational culture can be
used in order to understand type of culture at Jaguar land Rover that helps in coordinating
diverse individuals to work in team (Edeh and et.al., 2020).
Handy culture model: Charles handy has specified about four type of culture present in
organization such as power, task, role and person. The type of culture that is present in Jaguar
land Rover can be illustrated as follows:
Power culture: It is type of culture in which power to take decision remain among few
individuals that are higher in position. Moreover, they enjoy more privileges in the workplace as
they are superior than others, decide major decision about the task needs to be completed by
specific individuals. Likewise, Jaguar land Rover also has power culture as top management take
all necessary decision-making which are followed by subordinates that helps in smooth operation

maximum extend (Chinomona, Dhurup and Joubert, 2017). So, overall power in few hands of
individuals has helped in maintaining discipline and better operation of business in automotive
industry.
Task culture: The another organization culture is task in which team are developed for specific
task or project need to be completed. In context of Jaguar land Rover manager has coordinate
people that have different skills and capabilities to work for particular project so that better
outcome can be enjoyed. There are at least 8-10 individuals in team that are specialized and
highly capable that contribute in delivering better services to customer's in limited time frame.
Role culture: In this organization culture company in which employees are segregated on the
basis of roles and responsibilities that are performed each individuals. In Jaguar land Rover,
manager has allotted particular role performed by person on basis of their qualification,
experienced and interest. Thus, it ensures that right individual is given right responsibilities for
better satisfaction of customer's requirement. Moreover, every employees is accountable for
completing particular work assigned which lead in providing maximum benefits to company.
Personal culture: The fourth type of organization culture present in companies is personal in
which employees think themselves much more superior than others or company. The manager of
Jaguar land Rover has tried to avoid of creation of personal culture as it will lead in negative
impact on firm operation in long term (MONICA, 2020). Employees by thinking them superior
will force organization to take decision that are in their favor rather than that which are fruitful
for organization.
So, overall it can be stated that Jaguar land Rover has followed role, task and power
culture in order to manage and handle diverse range of people in society.
2. The way culture improve organization effectiveness in context of communication
Communication is an process of exchange of information between one and two
individuals that are working in the company. Better organization culture helps in promoting
effective communication between employees that are working in the firm. In another words,
culture defined the way different people interact with each others in work culture for performing
their respective functions (Yücel, Ribeiro and Gomes, 2020). The way culture improves
organizational effectiveness with a focus on communication can be explained through Shannon
and weaver model of communication such as:

Shannon and weaver model of communication: It is most popular communication model that
is widely used by number of people across worldwide. Thus, the model is mainly designed to
developed effective communication between receiver and sender that can be illustrated as
follows:
Sender: It is an first individual that send message to other through different channels so that
information can be easily transmitted to others. Top management of Jaguar land Rover is an
sender which send different information to subordinates or other employees regarding the way
they need to complete specific task (Tenzer and Yang, 2020). The manager is aware of type of
language that need to be used in message so that it can be easily convey to others, Thus, they can
easily interpreted, understand the same and complete their respective task.
Encoder: It is another elements of communication model in which machine is used to convert
message into signals so message transmitted by top management are encoded into binary data so
that it can be easily understand by receiver.
Channel: It specific the medium that is used to send message to others like email, having
conferences, seminars etc. Manager of Jaguar land Rover preferred email in order to
communicate with wide range of people that are working in the society. It by sending mail to
them in specific structure, appropriate language make aware employees about their respective
roles and responsibilities within organization. Conferences, meeting are also some of other

Motivation is a driving factor that influences individuals to perform specific task in
particular manner so that set standard can be achieved in limited time frame. So, it is process of
initiating or forcing someone to stay motivated towards their work thereby company can enjoy
high market share. Culture plays crucial role in motivating employees such as friendly and
supporting culture of Jaguar land Rover has yield maximum productivity and profitability of
company in automotive sector (Nethavhani and Rivalani, 2020). Maslow's need hierarchy is one
of the model that will be used to understand the way culture has played important role in
motivating employees to make optimum utilization of their skills for benefits of organization.
Such as:
Physiological needs: It is the basic needs of each individual that motivate it to work in team
rather than individual for achievement of common goals. Manager of Jaguar land Rover has
provided better compensation, wages and other benefits to employees so that they can be stay
motivated to complete the task. Incentives and appropriate salary as per their capabilities, skills
and qualification has helped them in living better lifestyles.
Safety needs: Another need of various employees that are working in company is safety and
security so that no possible harm can be caused to them in any circumstances. Jaguar land Rover
manager has ensured that all safety precaution has been undertaken by company so no threat can
be cause to employees life in any circumstances (Nayeema, Reddy and Das, 2021). Moreover,
the manager has make insurance, provided PF and retirement benefits to its employees that has
helped in influencing individual to make the best utilization of their skills and capabilities for
