What is the difference between climate and culture?
Climate and Culture are two different concepts. From the perspective of an organization
climate refers to the environment of the business organization where the employees work.
Organizational climate curbs itself according to the requirements of the organization.
Organization generally faces two requirements internal requirement or the external ones. Climate
of an organization only concerned about the current practices of the organization (Shanker et al.,
2017). Now considering organizational culture it can be said that organizational culture mainly
shows the atmosphere of the organization from its evolution point of the organization until the
present times (Alvesson & Sveningsson, 2015). Culture of an organization is developed over a
long period of time hence it is very significant for an organization to create a good reputation in
the marketplace because bad reputation will affect the culture of the organization. It can be said
that organizational culture is a broader concept that determines the organizational climate.

What is the difference between using a qualitative approach to studying culture and using
a quantitative approach? Which do you think is better suited to analyze organizational
culture?
Organizational culture can be evaluated by utilizing both the qualitative approach and the
quantitative approach. The qualitative approach of study is conducted by evaluating the
documents of the organization mainly the annual report of the organization while the quantitative
approach of study is conducted by considering the survey questionnaire procedure by including

respondents from the organization. Both the approaches provide different result one is concerned
about providing the quality of the organizational culture while the other is concerned about
quantity of the organization. In order to analyze the organizational culture the appropriate
method is to utilize a mixed approach because this mixed approach of qualitative and
quantitative ways will reduce the biasness and increase the validity of the result.
