ORGANIZATIONAL ETHICS
1. Overview of Ethics
The case study reference that we get in the first section demonstrates various aspects of
moral behavior. These are moral sensitivity, moral judgment as well as moral motivation and
moral character. After understanding these aspects I learned the basic purpose behind
implementation of business ethics and how they occur in the workplaces. The case study helped
me to understand that in order to make moral assessments, the intention behind any action
needed to accomplish something needs to be understood. In fact, from the case study, it is also
evident that the possible consequences should also be clearly apprehended.
There is specific influence of definite skill sets that have a decisive role to play in
exercising the moral expertise. As identified from the case study, some of the important skill sets
are moral imagination, moral creativity, reasonableness, as well as perseverance (Ferrell 2016).
Lastly, in terms of basic understanding of ethics, it can be highlighted that there should be a
sense of awareness among the moral as well as ethical values, which helps the organizational
stakeholders to see through the issues as well as dilemmas. In order to avoid the ethical
dilemmas in the workplaces, the perception to think objectively as well as rationally is also
required. The case study also highlights that this needs a level of emotional intelligence.

personal organizational commercial means like enhancing business control expense, enhance

There no steadfast rules and regulations by means of which the technological advances in
hardware as well as software can be significantly mapped in order to scope out the proceedings
of departments of individual organizations. The mass is amount of data that is accumulated by it
professionals in petabytes and beyond can be retrieved effortlessly by them. Although there are
organizational policies regarding data usage, but the IT professionals can utilize the data for
personal benefit also.
Cyber Attacks and Cyber Security
In the third with the discussion was regarding cyber security and how cyber attacks and
cyber security of organizations. Businesses are hit by cyber attacks everyday. In regards to the
course module that where convert to US in the 3rd week, I researched and found evidences of two
types of organizations. The first category is that are hacked and the second is those who are not
aware of the fact that they have been hacked (Pullen and Rhodes 2015). The cybersecurity report
of Cisco highlighted this categorization with the volume of events that has enhanced from 2016
to 17 and 2017 to 2018. The valuable business systems are mostly accountable for that and all
small third party Agencies which are handling departmental procedures of large companies are
gateways for cybersecurity criminals to enter into the database of big organizations (Van Wart
and Denhardt 2019). In this regard the third with module also describe about the impact of botnet
which is the malicious software like viruses. This software has the capacity of breaching the
security of the cyber database of an organization without the owners knowledge. This is the most
overwhelming aspect of cybersecurity threat.
