INTRODUCTION
Human resource is the important part of the organisation. It will help in getting new talent
for effective workflow and achievement of the business goal (Kolodzey and et. al, 2020).
Employees are the backbone of the company and without employee’s, organisation cannot
achieve its goal. There is various point which will covered in this report. It explains the models
of recruitment and selection process and explain the job description and person specification
with their importance. Furthermore, it will explain the impact of human resourcing in achieving
organisational goals.
Assessment task
Student will be assessed on their ability to analyse and apply best practice models of recruitment
and selection.
In the recruitment process, there are various sources of recruitment in the organisation
and each model have their own importance in recruiting candidate. There are two model of
recruitment are as follows:
Internal sources
These are the sources in which employees is being hired within the organisation
only. This will help in selecting talented candidate in the organisation.
Factors of internal sourcing:
Promotion- It is the process of selecting the candidate within the organisation and hire it
on upper level. This will lead to increase in PayScale of the employee with higher position
(Whitney, Thompson, Park ,2019).
Transfer- This is the process of hiring the employee from another branch of the
organisation. It can be for same post with same pay scale and same duties and responsibilities in
the company.
External sources
These are the sources in which candidate in being hire from outside the
organisation. This will lead to give chance to young talent and hire them.

Employment agencies- These are the firms which is the mediator between the candidate
and the organisation for getting potential employees in the company.
Selection
It is the process of choosing the deserving candidate for the specific job role that matches
the relevant qualification and skills for the job.
Factors of selection
Interview- this is the process of formal conservation between interviewer and respondent
and interviewer asked the question for the selection of the candidate.
Intelligence test- This is the test which undergoes in the organisation for evaluating the
IQ of the individual that how smart the candidate is for the specific job role.
Students will be assessed on their ability to evaluate the most appropriate candidate for the job
advertised.
In advertisement, there are certain requirement for the lecturer in human resource. The
most appropriate candidate for the job is Anthonia Randle, he is all the required qualification
with desirable knowledge. He has an experience of 10 years in Management and 8 years of
experience as a lecturer in Business School at the University of Greenwich, London. According
to me the person having this much of experience in the same profession will give right learning
and teaching to the student of Anglia Ruskin University, London. He will be keen to follow their
duties in proper supervision and motivation of the students with their experience and knowledge
that will help the student to score goods marks.
