PERSONAL STATEMENT
Working in a team taught me a lot as it allowed me to understand thinking and working
process of others (Michaelsen and Sweet, 2012). Every person should have ability to work in
group because MNCs or even small firms make units and individual has to work with co-workers
in order to get desired results.
Planning of team working activities
When we started working together then the first activity which we decided to do was to
understand each other’s strengths and weaknesses so we can divide whole work accordingly.
After completing this task, I asked my teammates to decide role and responsibilities. I took
accountability of making presentation while other team members worked on content on the PPT.
I also helped them in checking authenticity of the content as most of the matter that is present on
internet is not trustworthy. I checked copyright of every website which we used in our
presentation; it was significant to assure authenticity of our content.
Reflection on own experience
Group project give both kind of experiences i.e. positive and negative (Miler and Gaida,
2019). Our content was fine and we got appreciation from overall presentation. We did not use
information from any unauthentic source, our content was also specific and we did not have any
generic content in our presentation. Beside this, there were few minor conflicts because we were
not agreeing on couple on this. I liked a presentation template but my teammates did not like
them. Some issues were related to timing as few members could not make to team meeting
because of their personal work. If I will again get chance to work on this type of project then I
will make sure that me and my time do not face an issues related to time management. I would
also like to stay out of trouble in future as it steals positive energy from team environment.
Effectiveness measurement listed on spreadsheet
The spreadsheet clearly state that overall our team did a good job as we have a score of
37 out of 42. We were clear about our goals and it could easily be seen in our presentation. None
of us had any doubt about our goals and roles. Everyone agreed for the work they got, I, with all
my teammates, were fully involved in making of the presentation. Leaving few exceptional

cases, this happens in all the teams, we all listened to each other. I helped my other group
members when they were seeking help and they also assisted me when I needed their support. I
still think that we could have taken few correct decisions if we had more experience but this does
not mean that we have committed any mistake as our overall work was fine. We were open to
each other about our thoughts; I never felt that I should not share something in the group as
others may not like it. We knew that all may not agree on same point still we trusted each other
and shared our ideas so we can a mutual decision. Time management was also not an issue as
