INTRODUCTION
Orientation is the act and process of orienting in which people start to get learn more for
increasing their skills and abilities to work properly. This is defined as period prior to start of
academic year at a college and university. This is important for people to increase the learning
and take challenges in their life which can help to become more competent. People are expecting
to get higher education after completing academic courses which can help to increase the
learning and working capabilities of people (Carbonell Carrera and Bermejo Asensio, 2017). It
has been defined that is someone wants to expand their knowledge and skills then it is required
to participate in orientation programme which are held by top authorities and make feel good to
people. This also helps to increase learnings and develop the own skills so they can understand
the new activities and control them effectively. This report based on orientation which is solution
of getting success in higher education and bring the improvements. Therefore, career
development programme and reflection on assessment which can help to understand how to
improve own performance.

1. Personal Branding mean: This is conscious and intentional effort that create and
influence public perception of an individual by positioning them as an authority in their industry.
In other words, personal branding is the process of promoting itself by showing skills, abilities,
personality and experience that increases goodwill.
Importance: Personal branding is important for developing career and employability as
it is a tool for job seekers to show their talent and skills in which they are strong which can help
to get kind of jobs. Moreover, it is important to entail capturing and promoting the individual's
strength and uniqueness by targeting audience. This provide a clear focus on developing
personally and complete the task which assigned by top management(Figlio and et.al., 2019).

creating a network area and maintaining the professionalism. An individual should have good
relation with others and maintain the professional ethics which can help to deal with problems
and maintain the good performance in business industry and professional life. This can help to
build a career by creating a different point. If someone wants to build their career then it should
build good relationship and treat people formally which can make different person (Li and et.al.,
2017).
Importance: In higher studies and education networking and professional mannerism are
important which can help to make feel good and states all work is manageable. This can help
job hunters in a particular as personal recommendation where it create a good image.
Professionalism is a part of work life balance which can help to attracts the number of people
audience as how they can get success in their decisions. This is important for people to have
some manner to represent themselves in front of all which can support to search the job make a
important career moves.
Tips and strategies to develop: Here are some tips which can help an individual to build
a network and improve the long term careers. For developing the professionalism and mannerism
tips are:
 Reach out the right people – In this, a people is needed to build the relationship
with people and spread the network area which can help to increase the learnings.
 Keep in touch with contacts – This step is uses to keep in touch the people by
maintaining the relationship increase the learning activities (Mensch, 2017).
 Build the professional network online – In business field, number of online
professional network services are exists, is required to build the network area by
making new connections.
 Attend professional networking events – For engaging the people in
networkings there is need to attend the network events.

Aptitude Testing: This is a systematic activity which is uses in testing a job candidate's
abilities and skills for performing specific task react to a range of different situations. It states the
skills and working capabilities of a person so assigned task can be complete (Martens and et.al.,
2018).
Importance: This is important to assess candidate in terms of skills, ability, knowledge
and personality which can help to manage the all performance and activities. It helps to better
understand themselves and increase the learning about doing work (McGloin, McGillicuddy and
Christensen, 2017).
Tips of developing aptitude skills: For developing the aptitude skills there is need to
focus on daily problem which arises in organisation, need to do practice, uses puzzles and share
the views with people which can help to bring new ideas and increases the learnings.

Explain which assessment you chose and why
I have many option to access my knowledge and skills which can help me out to
understand where I am lack and how to overcome from some weakness. So I have chosen
personality insights which is useful and easy to know how to behave and get solve the problems
that arises while workings. I choose this because it consider all type of behaviour that make me
understand how was my reaction in particular situation so I can make efforts to bring
improvements (McGloin, McGillicuddy and Christensen, 2017).
Summarise the results of the assessment
As I assessed my skills and abilities by using 5 trait model and ocean model which helped
to state my abilities and attitude towards workings. From the assessment analysed that I scored
mid range on Extraversion that means likely to be comfortable with others, in Agreeableness
have scored mid range that means likely to enjoy team working and able to manage the people in
their workings, In emotional stability have scored middle range that means likely to cope up with
some pressure and stress in life that can help to manage the team and complete the task.
Moreover, I scored good in openness that shows I accept and enjoy some measure of changes
which helps to bring creative and innovative in organisation, I have also scored mid range on

consciousness that help to focus on task and complete them by allocating the activities. Such
analysis helped me to access the behaviour of myself which tell how to enjoy each personality
and manage the all performance efficiently (Mensch, 2017).
This assessment have give positive results by showing my talent and skills which can
help to cope with challenges and manages all activities in relation to get success. This provide
me suggestions to how to analyse the risk which are coming in taking education courses and
maintain all activities. For improving own knowledge and skills this model provides me
information where I requires extra learning and how to control the risks.
Explain how you will use these results for career development and at workplace
As all knows career develop is important for all individuals who wants to gain knowledge
and skills by uses learning and education programme which can help to complete the workings
and thinking differently. From the assessment results I get to know my strength as I am
comfortable to share and work with others, able to complete the finish work, cope up with stress
and difficulties and can accept the changes easily which can help in further workings and
manage the good performance. These results will help me resolve the problems and get future
job opportunities by managing all work and leading team. This will also help to reduce the
pressure of work by improving capabilities of work.
CONCLUSION
From the above report it can be concluded that professional learning is important for an
individual which can help to get success in higher education and improve the business
performance. For developing the career there is need to participate in orientation, career
development programme and seminars which can help to increase insights and manage the
workings. Career development is the wants of every student and candidate that can help to
improve the skills and provide opportunities to perform well. For developing the career there is
need to enter in orientation and career development programme which can help to increase
working capabilities and performance. Personal branding networking, Professional Mannerisms
and Aptitude testing are other key points that needed to be consider and manage the higher
performance.
