Introduction
The following report focuses on orientation for success in higher education. This report provides
detailed information about the reflective learning how students increased the knowledge has been
mentioned in this report (Daradoumis and et.al 2020). From list use of formative feedback and
skills which makes the student successful is also mentioned in this report. This report provides
in-depth information about the benefit of formative assessment and SWOT analysis of a student.

Reflection of learning
Students will be asked in the Universities and especially in the education that they should reflect
their own learning. The main motive behind deflection of learning is to create and involvement
and connection between students in their own learning experience (Gould and et.al 2017).
Whenever students learn any new subject and module in their education so before learning the
module was knowledge they were having and after the module what kind of changes they have
developed in them search is being explained by the reflection of learning.
Before doing SWOT analysis I was just having information about SWOT analysis that it
produces strength weakness opportunities and threats for the individual or for the company as
well but after going through to SWOT analysis I get in-depth information that how any
individual can use their strengths to overcome the weakness and how they can utilise the
opportunity so that they can easily eliminate all the threat. According to me when I was in my
schooling special in the primary school I was very excited and quick learner always remain
motivated and I also loved exploring new places.
But after my primary school I learnt more new skills such as personality development
public speaking and communication skills so that I got more new opportunities to explore my
ideas and knowledge. I was working I learnt that how to work in a team and within working in a
team how to respect your seniors as well as juniors and how to share personal experiences,
suggestions , thoughts and opinions so that others can also know the value of knowledge which I
have received.

Use of formative feedback
Future implication of knowledge and skills which I have received you going to help me a lot
because with the help of such knowledge and skills I can easily solve problems by giving a new
and innovative solutions. Apart from this whatever information which I have received when I
was in the school or university I learnt that how to speak in public gatherings and how to connect
with colleagues and managers so that I can get more opportunities and explore myself. Whatever
feedback which I have received from my teachers and faculties that I need to work on my
problem solving skills in decision making skills so that I can take accurate decisions at the right
type and help my organisation to not face any kind of loss (Hursen 2017). So I will definitely
work on this feedback and I will try to take Complex situation so that I can find out and
appropriate suggestions and solution of such problems.
Apart from this I have also received a feedback from my colleagues and from my
managers that I need to become more events in communication skills so that I can easily
communicate with other people without any hesitation and nervousness. Along with this I myself
felt that I need to work on time management skills because sometimes I get so indulged in any
work and research so that I could not complete the task on given time duration. This weakness
will create hurdles can I work in a team because in a team we all need to complete the task on
given date line and if I will take a lot of time then my entire team will have to suffer. I will work
on the feedback.

Skills to success
There are various skills which I have learnt in the university and I have developed in
myself so that in future I don’t have to get married and do not have to face any kind of
difficulties due to such skills. There are some skills which I have learnt during the university
Stress management
Getting stress is very common nowadays and especially when in the university where I
need to work hard to get good marks and to get good Employment opportunity for stress was
very common. To reduce stress I regularly did exercise, take adequate rest God proper nutritious
food and I was always remain engaged in self care so that I was able to overcome stress.
Money management
Being a student I got Limited amount of money so it was very important for me to
manage my money and I usually got experience in handling the money by checking by pass
books using ATM and always read bank statements so that I was able to create my own budget.
Follow rules and regulations
Every organisation wants those employees who can easily follow all the rules regulations
and Standards of their organisation and work as per their standards. So I learnt this skill from
University and I always try to follow all the rules and regulations which is being made by
University. I always believe that college is the best place to learn new skills and get new
knowledge about different things and this knowledge and skills will definitely going to help me
in the near future and especially when I get employed. So all these skills has helped me a lot.
Benefit of formative assessment
There are various benefits of formative assessment for students are available (Naicker,
2018.). As formative assessment is being used for learning’s and due to this organisation can
know how much has been learnt by each and every student. Therefore it is very beneficial for the
students.
Define learning objectives
Monitoring will always help students and it makes their goal in their mind so that
students can clearly achieve their goals and targets. With the help of formative assessment they
know about their goals and therefore they continuously work to achieve them.
Improved academics

Whenever a teacher provides regular feedback to the students on their progress during the
academic it will help to students to know their weaknesses and strength as well. Formative
assessment helps students to increase their academic achievement and goals with the help of
continuous feedback in formative assessment they can improve their grades as well.
Boost motivation
Formative assessment involves continuous learning and also it measures the performance
and progress of students so whenever they perform well it increased their motivation in moral so
that in future if students get more new opportunities they can easily adapt them.
Increased student engagement
Formative assessment provides new learning to the students each and every day and
therefore this will increased their engagement towards studies. Increased engagement in the
studies that can easily get good grades and they can work effectively whenever they get any good
opportunity. This will also help the students to increase curiosity to know and learn new things
this habit will help them in the entire life not only professional but in their personal life it will
going to benefit them.

SWOT analysis
Strength
One of my biggest strength is that I am efficient in streets management so whenever I get any
kind of stress and tension at the time of work I do not get worried and I always try to find out
best and optimal solution for the problem (Yuan 2018). Apart from this I have developed
problem solving skills as well so that I do not get worried about tough to tough situation and I
always keep calm and get the solution.
Weaknesses
I was having difficulties in communication whenever I had to communicate with the
latter group of people I got worried and lose my confidence as well. But I am currently working
on this issue and by taking opportunities in speaking public gathering I am overcoming this
problem. Apart from this I am very much work ethic and therefore indulged in the work and
Research which makes the work delay so I am focusing on this issue and to not get so much
work Ethic.
Opportunities
When I work done by skills and weaknesses I got so many opportunities not
professionally but in my personal life. I have developed so many skills in me a good various
career opportunities which has changed my life and I got more opportunities to learn and grow
new skills and knowledge. Apart from this achieved the desired goals and objectives by working
on my weaknesses and I’ve learnt that by using my strength I can grab each and every
opportunity.
Threat
I always have a threat from those people who take me lightly and you do not want me to
get more opportunities and growth. I do not want to live such people who discourages me and
that is another thread for me.
