Executive summary
Original Creation Company contain certain issues related to quality of products that
company could not deliver to end customer along with the fact that the business venture is not
being able to constantly giving emphasis over selling one particular product. The idea ODF the
business is such that people keep coming towards the organisation with the bunch of ideas that
can be commercialised. The best suitable idea is selected every time by company and try to
channelise the same in delivering the bushiness operations (Tu, Lim and Yang, 2018). The
language barrier between the manufacturer and the organisation also created a negative impact as
many time modification that organisation is looking forward to are not executed properly due to
lack of understanding. The main issue company witnessed as the leadership did not give
emphasis over selling one specific product or bunch of product rather than they tried to keep
launching new one which also kept confusing the potential customer and could some how
challenge the brand value of the business venture.
Introduction
The main purpose of the assignment is to understand the situation of company and make
necessary recommendations for overcoming various challenges associated with business venture.
This report will involve all the key reason behind doing the respective project. All the possible
business options will be discussed in this project (Singh, 2017). Furthermore, expected benefits
that company might get will be featured as a part of this report. All the disbenefit that is expected
will also highlight in this report. Timescale to deliver the proepr time that will allow the business
venture to deliver the identified advantage. Overall estimated cost will also be discussed in this
report.
Reasons
Mary Shalley has formulated a business organisation call as Original Creations. The basic
idea of business operation deliver by the company is that the creator or producer of different
products come forward to the business house and execute the sales with support of business
venture. The company started with the lifestyle products for different customer. The main issue

company face is related to the low sale due to the quality issue reported by the potential customer
in the market (Sharma and et.al., 2018). The availability of the miltiple product could further
create an impact over the operations of the business venture. Communication issue with the
manufacturer is also considered as a key issue or barrier that business venture has faced that
further influence the overall success of the company in the respective market. Due to the
language barrier as the manufacturer are belonged to china which do not let them understand the
English which could further create a huge differences in between the manufacturer and the
supplier. The reason behind delivering the study is to understand all the potential sources that
require the clear understanding about the different ways to deliver the business operations. The
reason behind selecting the study is to identify what are the possible choices available with the
company that would support the organisation to carry out the business success and growth in
market.
Business option
The Original Creations contain two different options one is do nothing option and the
other one is do something option that can be executed by the business venture. Also the do
minimum we can is a key option that can be accessed by the organisation.
Do something option
The actual situation of the Original Creations will motivate the business house to deliver
the do something option with the overall choices available with the business house. As the real
business situation of the organisation is seem to be very dangerous and contain a very serious
situation that motivate the business hose to execute this option. The organisation is strongly
required doing and execute some strategies that can motivate and direct the business venture to
overcome the whole situation. As the majority of the issue of the business is related to quality of
product that business venture distribute in the market (Koren, Gu and Guo, 2018). IN the current
competitive situation the quality of product become important for the organisation to convince
the customer in market for buying the all different products offer by the venture. In case of do
something option the business venture get the chance to take strong actions over the quality of
product. In this company can look forward to the local vendor or manufacturer or supplier that
can provide the quality products at the price range company is looking after. This will furtehr
allow the business venture to effectively communicate with all the stakeholder such as
manufacturer, supplier and all other as the language will be no different. This is an important

advantage that company will get by channelising this practice. This option will further lead to the
business house for attracting new customer along with sustaining the existing one in the market.
The main issue of the business house is in the form of lack of product demand in market.

This option will allow the business venture to effectively execute the growth of the business
house. The basic issue is related to the quality of product that company deliver to its end
customer and this option will support the business house to overcome this key barreuir or issue
that company is facing at this point in time.
Expected benefits
This option selected by the organisation could motivate the business house to execute
various advantages like improved quality of product of company in market, improve customer
relationship in market, improve the bran value of company, maximise growth and market share
in market and also to enhance the brand relationship with all different stakeholder group
available in target market. This option will certainly allow the business entity to overcome the
situation of sustainability and enhance the overall growth in respective target market. This option
has further allowed the business venture to approach all its operations effectively (Engström and
et.al., 2018). Increased existing customer base is denoted as one of the major advantage that
company will get in against to access with this possible option available with the company.
Further the business venture contain the possible benefit of increasing the market share with 30%
in the existing market. The current situation of business environment is highly competitive in
nature that attract the business venture to maximise the overall growth and development in the
market. Availing this option or choice would support the Original Creations to execute the bets
possible situation in favour of the business venture. Both monetary as well non monetary
benefits and advantage company would get by undertaking this potential option or choice.
Expected dis-benefits
There are certain disadvantages or challenges associated with this option is that Original
Creations can face the disbenefit is that the business venture might face the issue where company
do not get to coordinate properly with the suppliers (Ferreira, Fernandes and Ferreira, 2019). In
this process there is a high chance that the business venture does not get as effective supplier
option as possible. This would further disadvantage the business that the company not get able to
meet the product supply need of the business venture.
The another disadvantage that company will face will be that it won't be able to create the
global presence and that will lead in decreasing the brand image of the firm in the international
market. As well as downfall in the overall revenue of the company. Along with this, organization
will not able to access more resources that can affect the manufacturing process of the firm and

it won’t be able to accomplish the deadline in the limited time frame. Thus, it will also affect the
budget of the company as small business usually have limited finance for running their
company in the competitive market (Bell and et.al., 2021). However, with the limited amount of
resources company will not be able to advertise their product as it requires higher budget. In
addition to this, the organization will not be able to create good brand image in the external
business environment due to serving their services in the regional area. This is one of the major
disadvantage as brand reputation is essential for the company because it helps in attracting large
customer. That contributes in enhancing the sales and revenue of the firm as well as improve the
productivity.
Moreover, the company will face the issue such as reliance of individual relationship that
means business is based on single owner and it results in limitation of management skills and
capital. The firm will also suffer from weak bargaining position that can affect the productivity
of the organization (Staines, 2018). Furthermore, the firm will have limited expertise that will
affect the new product development of the company as well as reduce the chance of innovation.
Thus, for meeting the needs of innovative product the organization will have to hire new
employees that will have negative effect the operational cost.

In order to implement all proposed changes company, get to deliver certain operation cost
along with maintenance cost that would be incurred over the project. Both the cost will include
operational cost that comprises with the different operational activities and maintenance cost to
overcome the maintenance process of organisation.

During the whole assessment I have experienced various skills such as communication that
has helped me in developing my overall personality. Communication skills have helped in
improving public speaking as well as allowed me develop confidence (Ihtiyaroglu, 2019).
Along with this, while learning the assessment I have also enhanced numeracy skill that can be
define as ability of an individual to solve the technical problem easily. I have used this skill
while solving the time scale of the firm that define the amount of time require for completing the
small and major task that has been decided by the organization.
Furthermore, I have gain experience that I have to enhance my numeracy skills so that I
can smoothly solve the technical issues while studying the assessment. In addition, to this
throughout the assessment I have also investigated that I have developed the problem solving
skills that means to finding the appropriate solution for addressing the conflicts. During the

assessment I have gathered the information related to the firm form the mentioned cases study.
And I have identify that company was facing issues related to the customer complained about
the low quality of the product as well linguistic barrier faces by the organization from the
market of the china. So in order to reduce that I have provided the company with the solution
of choosing the do something business option that will contributes in improving the
productivity of the company in the competitive market. Beside this I have also suggested firm
the advantage and disadvantages selecting the do something business option.
Moreover, through the assessment I have also developed the skill of working in the team
as while working in the team I have adopted the Tuckman model. This theory describe the
stage that team has to go through such as storming, norming, adjourning and performing. In
simple words, this framework helps the team to perform better as well as allow the group
member to build the relationship (Jones, 2019). Thus, this model has helped me managing the
teamwork that has contributed in success of the assessment.
From the three weeks of the assessment I have learned various things that have contributed
in enhancing my knowledge. In the 2 week my experience was negative as it was difficult for me
to understand the assessment in the starting of the week. Whereas, I have positive experience in
the fifth stage. Moreover, during 2-week assessment I came across various feelings such as I felt
appreciated, educated and informative. During the assessment I have analysed that I have learn
designing a structure operation management of the Tuck man model. Along with this, I have also
learned various skills such as communication that was developed while working in the group as
well as research was developed while finding the information for the task online. In addition to
this, I have also developed problem solving and teamwork skills.
Furthermore, in the third assessment my experience of learning in the first week was
negative due to difficult in learning. Through the assessment I had feeling such as analysed,
curious and disciplined while doing the task. Along with this, I have learned about the
classifying the operation, production system and operation safety. Beside, this I have made an
action plan to solve my problems such as prepare ahead, research and share my finding in class.
Moreover, I have also learned research skills as it was the priority for completing the assessment.
In the fourth week assessment I have experienced that in my learning was similar to the 2 and 3-
week task. Along with this, I have come across feeling such as ready, clear and instructive while
working. Lessons that I have learned was project management stakeholders and types of

development projects. In addition to this, I have made an action plan that include researching
and making the question about the assessment. Time management and research were the skills I
have developed during the assignment.
CONCLUSION
From the above report it can be concluded that Mary Shally has started the business
original creation that deals in selling the products and services of other organization. Moreover,
the study has also summarized about the reasons related to the downfall of the business such as
low quality of the production. As well as language issues between the manufacturer of the china.
The present report has also depicted on the business option likewise Do Nothing and Do
Something option that can be used by the firm. Furthermore, the study has also recommended
Original Creation to choose to do Something business option as it will contribute in enhancing
the overall performance of the firm. Lastly, the study has thrown light on the advantage and
disadvantage that organization will face while following do something business option.
