a. Describe four reasons to carry out investigations when a workplace accident occurred.
The term accident can be termed as an event, condition or situation that are rises in the
manner of work that represents the way of injuries, illness, damage to health or lethality. It an
unplanned occurrence that interrupts the manner of an action that might involves the injury or
damage of structure. The goal oriented objective of the report is to analyse the reason of accident
at construction sites in Malaysia. As it also enhance the operations and function by which the
manner of segmentation will also ensures the field of area to build up the skills and sense of
knowledge or ability improve the sectional fields of area. Determine the cause so that future accidents can be prevented : As regard to Malaysia,
safety, health and environment are concern with protecting the social goodness of the
individuals in their individual manner(Akintayo, 2020). The main quora as to any
structural situation is the man power personnel. It might reason of having any structure
site delay, excess outlay and course loss of mankind. Fulfil any applicable legal and/ or regulatory requirements : Regulatory requirements
are non- transferable. It might also termed as administrative legislation that represent or
confine the accurate rights that allots social control. Hence, it is imperative for the
managerial structure of Malaysia, to be aware of the general and specialise services in the
matter of scope of the quality management system. Determine the cost of the accident : As the direct or insured cost for accident that might
reasoned on the expenditure that are covered by workers and individuals for
compensation and insurance policy that is considered as minor expenditure for the
occurrence. As when a serious accident or fatalities occurs in the market place it usually
have serious impact on the quantity or quality of work as they perform.
 Provide information for processing workers’ compensation claims : As it is a individual
compensation coverage that bought an leader business activity. To protect a leader
obligation for an injured individual or worker troubled from occupational quality of
diseases from the activity place (Alhosani, 2020). The individuals are as termed by
respective acts of the Malaysian general assembly and Malaysian communal law.

b. Describe the steps in carrying out workplace accident investigation. Isolate the Accident scene : As per to isolation of the accident scene may evolves that the
main goal is to maintain the scene as closely as possible to the conditions and the

evidence is gathered as the main purpose of handling the issues and problems. As

prosecuting officer and the government. As it evaluates the evidence and hence, it decide
the enough evidence tot prosecute the suspect in front of authority. The creator of the

 Following Up and Accident Investigation : The main purpose of the investigation of an
accident is to prevent the occurrence in the global manner. Entrusting the subsisted as it
may restorative at the plan of actions or hindering of plan of actions. The disciplinary
state of actions that are intended to manage the way as it will obstruct the act which
ensures the manner from fall out. As it also enhance the operations and function by which

Safety Officer.
 Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 : The occupational safety and health act of
1994 is a subjective part of Malaysian legislation, that was mark on 25 February 1994 by
the authority of Malaysian parliament(De Cillis, 2019). The major aim behind this act is
to make the provision for securing the manner of the health, safety and social welfare of
the an individuals at work place. It also ensures the manner to protect the sectional risks
to health and safety in the quora of connecting the activities as it establish the national
council that enhance the series of safety and health.
The provision of the law of this act that should be in addition to discourtesy of the
provision of any written manner that the law will relates to the occupational health and safety. In
the matter of fact, the law that enforces the activity of place at the modular necessitate to ensures
the individuals in the quora of health and safety. The Occupational Safety and Health Act
accepted the Occupational Safety and Health Administration and the National Association for
Occupational Safety and Health. The federal authority that conduct the research and recommend
as per the issues or problems and their solutions for the prevention of the work that relates their
health problem and health injuries.

 Industries / organisations required to have Safety Officer : As the matter of fact, it
involves the health department with good construction site of project that should
cooperate it as helping the controlling manner by which it continuing warns it and
complying it with the legal requirements of facilities (Ito, 2019). It depends on the
contractual arrangements through which the client, designer and constructor have their
roles in the quora which set in the organised set of form. As it appoints the manager to
monitor their activities and a supervisor to oversee the activities which initialise the
segmentation in the way to secure the safety and health of the individuals and other
workers as also including the members of the public. Qualifications of Safety Officer : As the safety officer is responsible for the arrangements,
execution and oversee the organisation of management which ensures the safety at work
surrounding. As a Safety Officer, an individual will be surely responsible for alleviating
the conformation with occupational health and safety program. The main aim that will be
to always ensure safe working environment and prevent any injuries and accidents
(Mutlu, Altuntas, 2019). The skills and abilities that are certain in the safety officer to
have the enrolled quality to use application in detailed orientated and physical toughness.
The qualifications determined that 39.7% of safety officers have a bachelor's degree. In
the manner of fact, the higher education levels the officer found that 14.2% of safety
officers have master's degrees. As the qualification can also enrolled the field to revived
the arrangements in the formal manner as it also put it forward to formulated the
operations and functions. Roles of Safety Officer : As per the series that are set with the primary manner of
responsibilities for the growth and development. They help in carrying out the
inspections of work place to take the general required actions to enhance the
conformation. They are the respondents who analyse the issues and problems from
individuals to take adequate actions as also they take responsibilities for nativity that
relates with the educational programs to disseminates the information to the public sector.
It also put forward the industrialized hygiene surveys to change the respective reports,
representation and forms. It does not have any specialisation for monitoring the source of

 Reports of Safety Officer : A safety officer should submit the report before tenth of a
preceding month to concern to his activities to the individuals (Schell-Busey, 2017) . The
actions that are to be taken by the individual in respect to follow it with the general
requirements of the act as in the manner of maintaining record of the number of accident,
dangerous occurrence, occupational poisoning or occupational disease which have the
place of work and ensures the personal equipment required for the purpose of
minimising any such issue or risk in the field of area. It applies in the orientated manner
to the subjective field to applicability and sectional manner. As the report has been
discussed the manner to get influenced by the key factor to its substitute in the positive
manner to determine the orientated targeted in the field of area.
