Introduction
Orientation is considered as the crucial university procedure & process that aid new students
adjust to life in higher education. It is determined that orientation is considered as the critical
phase in open & distance learning (ODL) in order to overcome the few problems which
connected with the distance appropriate student & lecturer. The main motive of OSHE is to
evolve the effectiveness of the higher education & then improve the learning impact on the mind
of the people. This report will discuss about three topics that are totally based on the OSHE&
then student need to discuss about the gained knowledge about the selected areas in context of
new ideas, theories & also strategies. This project will discuss about the effectiveness of all the
selected topics so that students can appropriately improve their knowledge & also understanding
about the topics. This project also determines the analysis of the performance in which students
need to share their strength &challenge.

Personal Branding
The practice of the promoting individual careers as brands is also known as the personal
branding. It is work like an ongoing process which can help to maintain the establishing &
sustaining a person's, group's, organization’s reputation & image. Personal branding & overall

success can considered as various kind of self-packaging, whereas certain self-help approaches
focus on self-improvement. The way individuals promote themselves is through their personal
brand. Individuals want their followers to see their unique combination of talents, experience, &
personality.
Personal branding is an effective advertising idea that refers to a person's marketing strategy
for promoting his or her primary key competencies. Celebrities, leaders, &those seeking social
integration, support, or distinctiveness rely significantly on personal branding (Anders., 2018).
On the basis of effective learning & underst&about the personal branding, it can be
determined that personal branding is containing as a specific source which can helpful to
improve the business operations of the organisation. There are three types of elements are
involved in the personal branding of the organization such as authenticity, vitality &also
compassion. All these three elements are helpful to create the new ideas &also useful to maintain
the new ideas so that manager of the organisations effectively prepares a strategy &improves the
productivity of the company.
Networking
In an information system, networking, often called as computer networking, is the
technique of transferring & exchanging information between devices through a shared media.
The design, development, or use of a network is all part of networking, as management,
maintenance & operation of communications infrastructure, equipment &software & policies.
Some specific electronic devices & endpoints can be engaged to each other on a local area
network or to a wider network, such as the internet or a private wireless lan, using computer
networking (WAN). Service providers, enterprises & consumers all across the world rely on this

function to share resources, utilization &also sell services & communicate. Connectivity is
simple.
Networking is helpful to improve the the effectiveness of the individuals so that they can
properly communicate with each other &resolve their issues. Networking is considered as the
most prominent topic in context of the higher education. The basis of discussion &also effective
understanding about the networking topic, &it can be generalized that some specific components
of networking like software, hardware & also protocols can helpful to improve knowledge,
create new idea &formulation of new strategies (Blaer, Frost &Laing, 2020).
The study mainly concerned about the appropriate factor which can helpful to
representation the asymmetric interactions between the some specific factors which are isolated
entities are known as network theory. Network theory is a subset of graph theory in computer
science & network science a networking can be described &considered with properties on
locations & edges.
Some social networking theories are more concern in order to improve the social relationships
&also transmitting a specific information so that it helpful to improve the whole personality
&also prospective of the individuals.
Team work skills
On the basis of the classes related with the orientation for success in higher education
determined that teamwork skills are helpful to improve the product &also services quality,
customer service, profitability &also productivity of the organisation. Teamwork skills are
helpful to create more value of the team members so that they can effectively improve their team
skills development, social skills development, copying skill development &also self concept

development. With the help of these development practices, students &other individuals can
appropriately improve their participation in teamwork &maintain team working activities in a
positive way (Donia, O'Neill &Brutus, 2018).
In order to improve the team working activities of the students, faculty members of the higher
education institution are conducting &also implementing specific theories of the teamwork in all
these theories Bruce Truckman theory is more important. Curie is beneficial in order to improve
the developed sequences at the small group. There are four components are involved in this
theory which are are determined as forming, storming, norming &also performing.
Tuchman’s theory mainly considers the idea concentrates on how a group approaches a
project from beginning of the team's formation to the project completion. It can be complicated
to underst&experiences related with the completed target, when group are mainly involved in
the target at work.
Some specific team working skills are communication, conflicts resolution skills, decision
making skills, organization &planning skills, reliability skills &many others which are helpful to
improve the overall personality of the individual.
Analysis of performance
On the basis of above discussion related with the three specifc topics of the organisation, it
is necessary for the tends to to consider the significance of all these three topics in order to
improve their self development. On the basis of my performance, I have determined from my
assignments &also feedbacks that personal branding, networking &teamwork skills are helpful to
to improve my core competencies &also enhance my academic knowledge so that I have became
confident about myself &also my overall personality. With the help of these topics, I have

generalized that my performance improved &I have also learnt new skills & knowledge like how
to communicate, how to behave with another people &apart from this I also learnt how to create
wider network (Robson, 2019).
These topics are beneficial to improve the academic performance ans also useful to create
the great impact in the organisation. The main concern mine is to focus on my career
development &also, I am looking forward to take new opportunities so that I can effectively get
good employments &shape my career as per my area of interest. In order to preceived good
knowledge &better understanding about the topic, I have considered my strength that is time
management &decision-making ability. With the help of my strength i become more capable to
resolve my own problems &also remove all the challenges which create problems on my way.
Strengths are considered as the plus point of the individuals which people can use in order to
improve their current situation improve the career opportunities. With the help of this study, I
have learnt to underst&the significance of the networking, teamwork so that I can appropriately
improve my own leaning &gain latest knowledge (Sun &et. al., 2017).
Conclusion
According to this study it can be concluded that Orientation for success in higher education,
it can be determined that some specific topic which can helpful to improve the overall
personality of the individuals. In this report, some appropriate topics are discussed which are
helpful to improve the core competencies so that students of the higher education can
appropriately shape their career &get more appropriately career opportunities. In this report,
applicability &importance of the strategic topics which are related with the attitude &personality
of the individuals.
