AI Summary
This report investigates the impact of ostracism on player needs within the framework of social, personality, and developmental psychology. The study employs a 3-player ball-toss experiment to assess the effects of exclusion (ostracism) on four key needs: self-esteem, control, belongingness, and meaningful existence. The methodology includes the use of questionnaires and the calculation of Cronbach's Alpha to determine the internal consistency and reliability of the scales used to measure these needs. The results, presented in summary tables, indicate the Cronbach's Alpha values for each need, providing insights into the reliability of the measures. The discussion focuses on the implications of the findings and the reliability of the questionnaire, while the conclusion summarizes the key findings, reinforcing the impact of ostracism on the assessed human needs and the reliability of the research scales. The report references relevant literature to support the findings.

Abstract
In this poster it has been described about impact on
player needs due to ostracism. For that there are 4 types
of needs is considered that is self esteem, control,
belongingness and meaningful existence. The method
used is 30 ball tosses was done between 3 players. Also,
Chronbach’s Alpha value has been obtained in it of all 4
types of values.

Also, inclusion and exclusion
condition was applied in it.
INTRODUCTION
There are various types of needs of an individual
which needs to be fulfilled. The needs vary from each
other depending on individual. Moreover, the needs
vary on basis of conditions as well. Usually, the needs
are self esteem, control, belongingness, meaningful
existence, etc. So it is necessary to determine needs of
them so that it can be fulfilled. For that there is need
model is applied in it. The model of ostracism assess
extent of threat of human needs that is categorised into
4. The main concept of ostracism is based on feelings
and depression. There are 3 stage of reaction of
ostracism that is reflexive, reflective and resignation.
Ostracism means to ignore and exclude individual from
others. This highly impact on overall behaviour of
individual and their needs. If ignored then it can result
in negative consequences on individual. Hence,
motivation level of individual also decreases along their
morale. This can also led to depression and stress in
individual.
So, here a study was conducted to find out threat of
ostracism on player. For that a questionnaire was
prepared and then data was gathered.
Interpretation- From table it can be concluded
that the Chronbach’s Alpha value obtained is .818
which means that set of items in group are closely
related to each other. This means that internal
consistency within belongingness group is
moderately related with each other.
Interpretation- By analysing above table it can be
concluded that the Chronbach’s Alpha value
obtained is .878 which means that set of items in
group are highly related to each other. This means
that internal consistency within control group is
closely related with each other.
Interpretation- By interpreting table it can be
stated that the Chronbach’s Alpha value obtained is
.837 which means that set of items in group are
highly related to each other. This means that
internal consistency within self esteem group is
moderately related with each other.
Interpretation- the table examine that
Chronbach’s Alpha value obtained is .837 which
means that set of items in group are highly related
to each other. This means that internal consistency
within meaningful existence group is moderate
related with each other.
Discussion
From table it is discussed that in most of
table the Chronbach’s Alpha value obtained was
between 8 -9. So, it means that items within group
were highly related to each other. Thus, it means
that scale used in questionnaire is reliable. So,
overall questionnaire is reliable.
Conclusion
It can be concluded that ostracism assess
extent of threat of human needs that is categorised
into 4 that is self esteem, control, belongingness,
meaningful existence. The scale used in
questionnaire is reliable as Chronbach’s Alpha
value is acceptable.
