RE: New Staff Uniform
Good morning.
This is to inform you that the uniforms currently in stock are depleting due to breakages, high
demand and providing uniforms for third parties. As discussed, we ordered uniforms according
to the needs we had at the time and only for Outrigger Konotta Resort Hosts.
New host uniforms have been replaced by host who left the island however we are unable to
provide uniforms any further due to lack of correct sizes, poor uniform conditions and stock out.
There are no management uniform sizes for the new doctor who arrived yesterday. The trend
has been merging and amending host uniforms to fit according to their sizes but the stock has
now depleted and sizes unavailable.
Kindly clarify if Best Dive department (third party) should provide new uniform for new host
arrival, as we have been amending old uniforms for Best Dives new hosts. This consumes a lot
of time and we have only one tailor in the island who is unable to cope.
The old Outrigger hosts uniforms are also old and not in presentable condition due to gone
edges, continuous circulation and are not repairable any further. They have thus been discarded
in housekeeping store and so the storage space is running out as a result of lots of discarded
items in the building. Finally, the OKM hosts current uniforms are also in a filthy condition due to
the linen material and daily continuous circulation.
We therefore need to purchase new uniforms for the staff and free up storage space by
discarding the worn out uniforms. New uniform purchase has been inserted in OPEX 2018.
Kindly advise if we should proceed.
