INTRODUCTION
Business communication is information sharing between people
within and outside an organization. Srilanka is a tourist destination
but terrorist attacked on luxury hotel. Managers of hotel has aim to
promote resort and recover situation of hotels as earlier through
communication. This poster will be cover barriers to communication,
strategies to overcome and cultural awareness.

communication so barriers like: -
Linguistic: - language is very important
concern to share information. For promotion of
Hilton hotel so they use communication tool to
understand their language because many
different languages present according to different
region.
Cultural barrier: - different region has
different culture so manager of Hilton has to face
barrier because they promote hotel through
communication and different region has different
words and meaning. So due to this barrier people
do not attract.

Strategies for overcoming communication barriers
The following are the different strategies that can be used by Hilton
Hotels in order to overcome the communication barriers in Srilanka-
Eliminating the difference in perception- Hilton Hotels has planned to
set up a new beach resort in Srilanka. In order to initiate these the
management of the Hotel has to change the perception in the minds of
people regarding the threat and security from terrorist’s attacks. This will
be done by ensuring the proper security measures availability at the resort,
including the proper scanning and data collection of the people which will
gain a positive perception regarding the resort by people.
Proper Media Selection- Media is the current best medium of
communication with the people. Hilton Hotels need to address and use the
support of media to ensure the safety measures initiated by the Hotel at the
resort. This will create a positive look of the people for the new resort.

CONCLUSION
From the above report it is summarized that various
communication barriers will act as hurdles for the setting up a
new resort in Srilanka and create complications for the Hotel to
initiate its current activities. The report also studies what all
strategies shall be used by the organization to overcome those
hurdles and concludes by explaining the cultural influence on
