Sustainable development is identified in different ways and all of them work with motive
of fulfilling existing needs with no compromise on resources and requirements of future
generation. In the present scenario, sustainability is understand as a global framework and this is
used to perform work according to international cooperation. This report is written from
perspective of Oxfam and it is a charitable organisation and it was established in the year 1942.
Oxfam work with motive of implementing needs that work with value and it states about
minimising challenges that is related with good health and well-being. Ensuring healthy lives and
promoting about all being define about global health crisis and it is a major factor that impacts
on growth of organisation. The major progress within health of millions about individuals aids
towards increase in life expectancy and reducing some common killer associated related with
maternal and child mortality (Filoso and et. al., 2015). Sustainable development implies
fulfilment of several conditions that improves overall aspects of society to increase number of
benefits. Improve in good health and well-being is considered as a global goal which is formulate
and adopted by United Nation members in the year 2015. This is considered that Oxfam and
other organisation work with motive of end poverty that aids to ensure all individuals are healthy
and they undertake same opportunities to perform their role in a safe and healthy manner. Oxfam
is a well-known charity organisation and the aim of it's workforce is too minimise poverty from
society. The main rational to select organisation is that management of Oxfam implement
practices at a large level that is used for improving health of individuals. On the other side, the
main sustainability challenge that relates with organisation is improper communication and no
transfer of information and other essential resources that improve good health and well-being of
individuals. Due to this negative impact on society is identified and it create challenges for
organisation because most of individuals are not concern about their health. Further, world is
facing global health crisis as Covid-19 is spreading among humans and it also impacts on
destabilizing economy of country. Before pandemic major progress was made to improve health
of individuals for improving life expectancy by minimising wide range of diseases and common
killers which is associated with child and maternal mortality (Fonseca and et. al., 2018). But
more efforts is required for wide minimising current challenges because covid-19 is an
uncommon disease so it create challenges to identify methods for overcome from current health
related challenges. There is a issue identify at Oxfam and it define that authority and power is in

hands of local employee's and they support only local individuals. Due to this it is challenging to
perform work in international market and it impacts on authority and power to take decisions in
favour of overall health. This impacts on performance, work efficiency and health of society.
Due to low health of individuals it is understand that functions performed by individuals are not
fair and it is because this impacts on equal opportunities to all persons specifically to those who
belong to lower segment (Gardetti and Torres, 2017). So with improve in good health and well-
being all individuals perform their work with more efficiency by using it's strength.

The term strategy is explained as an action plan and it work as a process or method
through which all issue and problems are minimised by formulating steps that improve work
process of organisation. This is important for Oxfam to develop effective strategy as it helps to
design and develop strategies that improve overall practices for improving good health and well-
being. Some effective organisation practices are mention as follow: Philosophy- Oxfam is providing their services from more than seventy years and it was
established with aim of improving society conditions. There are more than twenty
charitable organisation focus on alleviation of improvement in global conditions through
improving health of individuals. Winnie Byanyima was executive director of Oxfam
international and they work on methods that improves mission and values of
organisation. This is recognised as a right-based approach and it develop framework
through which all individuals work with confederation that is used to manage
sustainable livelihood through improve health of individuals. For this Oxfam majorly
work on poverty to improve human actions (Kohtala, 2015). So mission statement of
Oxfam is to focus on activities that undertake participation of all individuals in society.
Structure- Oxfam is a non-profitable organisation and it offer their product and services
to a large section of customers with motive of reducing issue and challenges that
generate problems within society. Business model of respective organisation depends on
focusing on charity. Management of Oxfam is accountable for managing their work in
international market but there are different challenges faced by management because it

is an important part for management because it boost organisation to significantly
increase methods to improve business practices through use of innovation. Oxfam is a
large organisation and they offer it's services within different countries. The major
barrier which is stated in Oxfam role is inappropriate transfer of information and

problems for Oxfam management to provide same services within overall areas.

also participated within project through which work is completed according to decided project.
This also engage for improving knowledge related with good health and well-being issue through

Feeling- In the initial phase of this project I am totally nervous to face the situation and it
is because lack of knowledge about the topic formulate problems for me to understand the topic.
Moreover, I also enhance my confidence level and this include participation of activities that
improves project results through understand about information related with topic. This increase
my knowledge level through improving information related with good health and well-being.
Evaluation- This is determined by me that the project was totally effective and smooth as
well as informative due to which my knowledge is increased related with health perspective.
Along with this by support of other team members positive results are obtained by me and it aids
to complete project in successful manner. Moreover, lack of time generate negative aspects for

and this helps me to perform all task with decided time. Moreover, I have strong communication
skills and it assist for transfer of information in an accurate manner.
Action- In last this is analysed by me that I need to explicate an effective action plan that
helps me to understand my skills and capabilities. This also aids me to improve overall activities
by performing task in an organised manner as action plan develop right steps through which
performance is improved in proper manner.
