Analysis and critical evaluation
In the current world of E-commerce, there are many trends and strategies which are very
essential for any company to include in their current business strategy so that they can be ready
to face the market in current time (Baporikar, 2017).
Ozbargain
This is our chosen organization. Ozbargain has a multiple store all across Australia. They
recently had a transaction to an online portal and it would be a great learning opportunity to
consider this organization in this report. We also keep in mind that even though Ozbargain
already had an online platform but we must analyse the risk or problems that can occur in near or
distant future.
We know that since websites and online portals came into the picture, we have been using them
as a way to sell or provide people with various commodities or necessities that they are in need
of. Many great entrepreneurs and businessman have used websites to sell some products by
which they have earned their livelihood. Selling through the medium of internet is not an easy
job because building trust in customers is important as they have an initial instinct of not trusting
anything or anyone whom they have only seen through a set of computer screens (Doloto, et.al
2015).

Some of the current trends are as follows:
1. Interactive Product Visualization
The basic need in today time for any customer to shop online is to see the product from
all the angles before buying them. This is the way that they can sure that they will get
what they see and like, using interactive visualization will make each product enhanced
and detailed so that customer can take a good look at their desired product before buying
them (Kunasekaran, et.al 2015).
2. Artificial Intelligence (AI)
In progress of time, we have developed AI in so many ways that it doesn’t feel such a
vast concept. We have developed many algorithms and methods to use them in the field
of e-commerce so that both the business and the customers can be benefited from that.
This includes bounce rates, traffic on the website, engagement rate, etc (Rodriguez, et.al
2017).
3. Advance Product Filtering
Using methods to sort the products on an advanced level will save so much amount of
time for customers and the company. The world is rapidly growing day by day and for
any business to stay afloat in this tough market, have to apply advanced techniques so
that their customers would feel more comfortable shopping on their website instead of
going somewhere else (Lugmayr, 2017).

4. Chatbots
It a part of AI but chatbots are very essential in order to make any e-commerce business
successful. It is used for developing and deploying instant communication with the
customers so that the people working in a company can know beforehand what their
customer expects from them (Yu, et.al 2017).
5. More Delivery Options
Having various essential delivery options can be a huge factor in making any e-
commerce business successful. In countries like Australia and England, some companies
are using drones to deliver their products (Chaffey, 2015).
System architecture to support e-business
Proposal: For a successful e-business, the best architecture model is a three-tier or level E-
business architecture model (Xu, et.al 2019).
Justification
A three-tier business model can help any business in many ways like it can derive a way to
eliminates all the shortcomings and drawbacks of the company line customer’s unsatisfaction,
market analysis, etc (Ross, 2016).

The three levels in system architecture are Enterprise level, Functional level, and Operational
level.
1. Enterprise level: - This level is all about the strategic direction and analysis of the
company. Enterprise level influences behaviors in business as well as maintain a proper
flow of data stream between supply and customer collaborations. At this level, a process
like supplier facing helps in making procurement functional and integrated product
deployment.
2. Functional level: - This level deals with the component s in the main process of one to
one relationship which includes customers collaborations, functions of corporate,
collaboration for supply and chain value.
3. Operational level: - This level deals with the documentation and detailing of the various
process in the integration part of any e-commerce business.
Migration plan
The actual term for e-business is an electronic business which means that using the internet to
perform business activities. E-business doesn’t only mean buying and selling products over the
internet it means that using the internet to support and implement all aspects of the business.
Buying, selling, customer evaluation, customer support, product validation, etc.
For an organization like Ozbargain, migration pan is very important because this plan will help
in identifying the requirements and details that must be check before or soon after the transition
as we have to check that the plan which was derived to make the business more efficient and
successful is working or not. The major benefits that a company like Ozbargain will receive are
stable plan after the transition and a thorough plan to identify the future plans and steps in order
to keep the business afloat. We can also measure the benefits by seeing the report for business
market analysis or performing the strategic evaluation in order to determine how well the
company is growing after using the power of the internet in its daily activities (Gatzert, 2016).
New E-business Application
To make a business successful in the world of internet, a prominent and efficient e-business
application is the move in the right direction. Using the application to control the business
activities is an efficient way as it categorizes all the products which help the user to see what

they want to see and at their chosen time. Also, using e-business application gives the user all
time access to the products wherein an offline store the customer has to wait for it to open and
place an order before it closes down for the day. E-business application provides the user with
24-hour access to the shop and the customer can shop from anywhere and at any given time.
With the benefits of new E-business, application comes some potential risk, like when we
transition a business to an online platform then we are relying on outside server to host our web
portal which can costly and risky. Like an offline store, there is no personal connection between
customers and company so the use of Electronic application removes this personal connection.
E-Business strategy
Proposal: To make a business successful in the world of internet, a prominent and efficient e-
business application is the move in the right direction. Using the application to control the
business activities is an efficient way as it categorizes all the products which help the user to see
what they want to see and at their chosen time (Choi, et.al 2016).
Justification: There is some significant risk with the details of the new e-business application,
such as when we transfer business to an online marketplace, then we relay to external computers
to host our web portal, that can be expensive and time-consuming. There is no close connection
between clients and company like an offline store, so using Digital App eliminates this personal
relationship. In relation, using e-business implementation offers the user with-time access to the
goods where the client must wait in an offline shop to open and place the order until it shuts
down for that day.

Recommendations
To make this report more prominent and promising from a business point of view, something can
be added like, in migration plan discussing the strategy to make all the stores and websites share
the same database so that in real time updates can be made. Also, the use of private servers can
be very costly so determining a budget to reduce the cost of those servers can be a step in the
right direction.
