reach their customers such as the mode to access to customers, location strategies, promotion
strategies and online channels and strategies.
Channels
Mode of access to customers
There are various modes available that a business can use in order to reach its customers such
as train, bus, air, truck, water, etc. The Pack & Porter Company has planned to offer their
initial services to the NSmen of Sungei Gedong Camp which is located at Lim Chu Kang
Road in Singapore. It is a remote area where there is only single bus service that travels to the
location. In order to reach their customers the company can start a moving van service which
will help them in collecting and transferring the kit bags and uniforms of NSmen at their
camp. Along with this company offers ferry services which deliver the equipment and
uniforms of NSmen at their reporting camp.
Location Strategies
It is the initial stage of the Pack and Porter business, therefore they can open their store in the
army area where they can directly provide their wash, maintain and storing services. It will
help them in giving strong competition to the other shopkeepers who offer the same type of
services to the NSmen in Singapore but at a higher price. Further, it will make easy for the

help the company to deliver their message i.e. "Get You Ready". Along with this, they can
advertise their services on television; they can distribute pamphlets and place hoardings at the
nearest places where NSmen regularly visit.
Public Relation: - The marketing team of the Pack & Porter can visit at the camp of NSmen
and can try to make good relations with the heads of the camp and tie up with them by
offering the lowest price of the service and providing a brief explanation about their services.
This will result in making them the only company whose services will be availed by the
NSmen of that particular camp.
Sales Promotion: - The Company can promote it services by distributing their pamphlets,
freebies, coupons at the point of purchase. These activities can be performed by the sales
officers appointed by the company for the store placed in the army area.
Online Channels and Strategies
The Pack & Porter can offer their services to their target customers which the help of online
channels such as web page, application, search engines, social media advertising, Content
marketing, etc. The company can produce their own webpage on the internet platform where
