Introduction
This research proposal tells the topic ‘what factors impact adolescents by the separation of
parents and how does this affect their mental health and development?’ This research proposal
will help the readers in attaining the proper understanding related to the factors as well as
impacts of separation of parents. For the young generation, the separation of the parent may have
long-run consequences as well as immediate consequences. In the long- term consequences, the
separation of parents may have the adverse impacts on physical health, emotional health, as well
as welfare of the separated parents as well as teenagers. The research proposal states the research

children from damaging the conflicts?
Significance of research
As the research paper will discover the factors affecting adolescents after the separation of
parents. It will also develop the understanding that how the separation of parents will affect the
development of teenagers and their mental health. The research will be helpful in recognizing the
real impact of separation of the parents. When separation takes place, this is very difficult for the
adolescents to be hopeless and want the parents to stay together. In this way, this will place the
