Participative Leadership Skills
The participative leadership style enables me to involve the employees in the decision
making process and that can create a huge impact in the minds of the employees who are
working under my leadership. These motivates the employee to put their input so as to
achieve the success in a collective way possible. There are things that need to be taken care
by me so as to continuing the participative leadership skills in the organization in an effective
way possible and they are:
I as a leader should focus on the group as a whole which will enable me to
develop the relationship between the employees. These can be done by involving
them in the decision making process, which will create a sense of trust in the
minds of the employees (Iqbal, Anwar and Haider 2015).
As a leader in the participative leadership style, I should conduct a survey, which
will enable me to understand the problem that the employees are facing or how I
can approach the problem so that the team performance can be enhanced in the
process.
As a leaders in the participative leadership I should enhance the processes, which
are time consuming and slow down the effectiveness of the process. These need to
be look after by me so that the style of leadership can be effective in the process
(Bell, Chan and Nel 2014).
As a leader in the participative leadership I should motivate the employees to
work hard and push the limit of the employees so that the performance can be
enhanced of the individuals as well as the team can be benefitted in the
organization.

employees in an effective way possible. These will benefit both the organization
and the individuals.

There are key actions that need to be taken up by me as a leaders so that I can
improve in the participative skills within the organization and help me to accomplish what I
am willing to accomplish in the company. The three major actions that need to be taken up by
me as a leader in the participative leadership, so that my leadership can be effective in the
process and enable me to obtain the target in the process. The actions that need to be taken by
me in the participative leadership style are:
As a leader, if I want to be a successful one, I need to develop the situational
awareness so that the employees who are working under my leadership can plan
accordingly and can remain prepared in the process. These will enable me as well
as the whole team will be prepared beforehand and let us achieve the success in
the process (Epstein et al. 2018).
As a leader, I should empower the team members with the sufficient knowledge so
that they can deal with the problems that they are dealing within the process.
These is crucial so that the team can perform well in the company, which will
enable us to achieve both individual as well as team goal (Noe et al. 2015).
As a leader, I should be able to resolve the conflict that are taking place in the
team so that the team can perform collectively and the target can be met in the
process. These are necessary for me as a leader in the participative leadership style
