INTRODUCTION
In modern era, to run business in a successful manner and for better opportunities
entrepreneurs are working in partnerships. This activity gives them many suggestions at the time
of making decision in a proper manner. In corporate sector, MNC's mostly have partners that
runs business at marketplace. It has been found that while working in a partnership it brings
effectiveness with efficiency this helps organisation in attaining desired goals. This report
includes Children and young people's mental health services(CAMHS) that aid in providing
services to youngsters who have issues related to mental health (Dickinson and O'Flynn, 2016).
Assignment will show operations of collaboration of two or more entrepreneurs who own a
company that work for providing services to users as per their requirements. Apart from this,
different models of partnership in health and social care department has also been indulge in
assessment. Lastly, report will put light on legislations and difference that affects partnership.
TASK 1
1.1 Philosophies which include in partnership of health and social care unit setting
Organisations that have partners earns more profit and have effective productivity than
other companies. As they have two persons who have intellectual thinking of running business in
a successful manner. Apart from this, discussions in between partners aid them in making better
decisions for firm. In health and social care department, two partners brings effectiveness by
bringing different sort of new techniques and tools by which they can give more and appropriate
services to consumers. It has been found in modern era, children and people of young age have
many mental diseases like dyslexia, depression, amnesia and etcetera. Hence, if sole proprietors
in this health and social sector will work together then possibilities are there that it may help
them in contributing more for their clients like CAMHS. Four philosophies in this context are
mentioned below:
Empowerment: This type of philosophy can be stated as one of the main in terms of
partnership in health and social department. It is vital for partners in this sector to give proper
services to children and immatures. As they are future of country (Glasby and Dickinson, 2014).
In 2004, a survey was conducted in which it was found that approx 1 from 10 kids is suffering
from some kind of mental health issue. Hence, they need to give services to children so that they
can come up from illness.

Humanity: In this type of philosophy, working in a partnership in health and social care
is totally associated with humanity. It is mandatory for partners of these firms to think in context

other one is making. Then only a partnership can run a business in a successful manner. CAMHS

his/her decision and find ways to bring the best outcome of it.

proper sort of understanding and also should have respect for each other for running business at
market in successful manner. In social and health care department, it is important to understand
the type of partnership (Bircher and Kuruvilla, 2014). There are ample number of problems that
arises. To deal with these problems there are many sort of partnership that gets implemented in
social and health care unit and these are comprehended beneath:
Project partnership: This type of partnership gives opportunities to individuals. They
form strategies to attain goals and objectives which are related to project. This sort of partnership
aid in running all the activities in a smooth manner which are related to operations. Under this,
management can improve chances of improving both productivity and profitability of firms.
CQC should get indulge in this type of partnership. This will help company to improvise and
easily handle complex situations. Apart from this, it will aid in delivering quality services to
clients.
Problem solving partnership: This type of partnership, aid in removing complex issues
by taking smart decisions that do not cost much to organisation. CAMHS needs to have this kind
of partnership so that better gains can be made at marketplace. This actions will improve quality
of services that they are giving to its clients. Apart from this, there are some major issue that
patients and clients faces like lack of communication between heath care adviser and patient.
Hence, this type of partnership can take various initiatives to resolve all the issues (Brett and et.
al., 2014).
Thus, CQC can improvise conditions of both of these partnerships that has been
discussed above. With the help of this type of element organisation can improve their
sustainability which helps them in running their business in a successful manner for a long
period of time.

has been made by government of United Kingdom that every organisation has to follow. Mainly,
government agencies forms these legislations in sake of employees, consumers and for
companies as well. To sustain for a long period of time it is essential for firms to keep on
following or adapting there regulations. This action lead them towards improvement of both
productivity and profitability (Dickinson and O'Flynn, 2016). Case study that has been provided,
it shows that CAMHS has lack of understating while delivering services to client. Thus, CQC
helps management in determining requirements and provide them services as per their needs.
Some legislations that affect working of partnership are as follows:
Health and safety act, 2015: This type of act was made by government to provide safety
to employees at workplace. In context of health and social services, organisations should keep on
maintaining hygienic environment of workstation so that workers do not find any issues while
doing work (Bryson, 2016). Apart from this, Care Quality Commission can also help in
improvising quality of products and services so that no issues a client faces at time of using those
services.
Health and social act, 2012: This act intended in section 251B that at the time of
delivering services it is mandatory for organisation's management to provide all details about
products and services to consumers. It is mandatory for management of CQC to give all
information to socialites so that clients do not face fraud activities.
Hence, these acts are need to be understood by all organisations so that they can improve
quality of products and services. Apart from this, it is also important for practices to imply these

2.3 How differences in working practices and policies affect team work in health and social care
In health and social care sector, it is not easy for organisations to work with continuous
positive results. There are so many barriers that management faces while taking decisions for
betterment of company. One of the main barrier which hinder situations for company that is
legislations that has been made by government. In this context, it is easy for sole proprietor to
make decisions but issues comes up when partners makes decisions as they both have different
perceptions towards their tasks (Cameron and et. al., 2014).

According to the case study, both mental health team and mental health staff members
faces issues and apart from this many disputes gets arises when it comes to description of
functions and duties of them. Some major issues are as follows :
Communication: Message conveying gap can be stated as one of major issues that they
faces from time to time. Because of this conflicts comes up in between them. Under this,
information do not gets exchange from one department to another. Local community do
not follow a hierarchy this may lead towards where only few people know about the
information and not to every one.
It is mandatory for firms to formulate plan and give information to every level of
management so that better results can be gained in a specific time period (Carpenter and et. al.,
2017). Local community mental health staff and mental health trust staff are facing issues as they
do not share information with each other because of confidentiality.
CONCLUSION
From the above report, it got concluded that two individual can form a partnership by
collaborating. By this action, they can easily find better ways to improve both productivity and
profitability of company. This assignment showed working style of partnership in health and
social care sector that aid in creating favourable conditions for firm. This activity helps company
in taking appropriate decisions by which clients can have great experience after taking services
from them. This report showed, philosophies and relationship in between partners of an
enterprise in social and health care sector. Apart from this, various strategies that management
makes in giving satisfaction or fulfilling all the requirements of clients. Lastly, some barriers that
put impact on organisation which has been owned by a sole proprietor.
