This report is based on the topic of the Working in partnership in health and social care
services. This report is based on the health and social care in which it is working in the
partnership(Kim and et. al., 2014). There are a St. Patrick's international college which is
working for their student in which it is provide the health and social care. This college is doing
work in the partnership in the health and care service. In this report it has also mentioned about
the philosophy of working in partnership in the health and social care. There are also mentioned
the relationship of the partnership and models of partnership. Partnerships can be defined
between individual college or other college who is shared interest. In this report, there are also
mentioned about the legislation and organisational practices and policies for the partnership
working. This report also determine the outcomes of the partnership which is working for users.
In this report, there are also mentioned about the strategies of the partnership.

1.1 Philosophy of working in partnership in health and social care
There are some philosophy of the working in partnership in the health and care services.
The St. Patrick's international college is conducting health and social care services for the college
students. There are some philosophies which has been framed to facilitate the working in
partnership in the health and social care aspect. The philosophies include the empowerment of
partner organisations, interdependency, autonomy and respect, power sharing and for the making
the informed decisions(Billings and Halstead ,2015).
Firstly, The St. Patrick's international college involve in the partnership working in the health
and social care services in which the partnership working are able to provide the empowerment
to each other for the ordination of the activity. Partnership working increase the power of the
partners which is effective in the achieving organisation goals and objectives. So the
empowerment is the one philosophy of the partnership working in the health and social care
service.
Secondly, The second philosophy of the working in partnership in the health and social care
services which is effective for the St. Patrick's international college. This college is provide the
health and care services for the college students. The St. Patrick's international college working
as the partner in the health and social care service in which it depend on each other for the co-
ordination and for the social support. . Interdependence is important for the partnership working.

health and social care organisation provide the food item and other things for taking care of the
old people.
Thirdly, the partnership organisation is depend on each other for the health and social care
services. The St. Patrick's international college provide the opinion, information about the health

provide the power to each other.

The relationship among the partner in the health and social care is important for the

There are some strength and weaknesses in working in the partnership but one of the

and social care services for their college student. This college is working in the partnership and

services. The improvement of the organisation is based on the relationship of the partners. The
St. Patrick's college want to increase the health and social care service for their college student
for which it is working in the partnership and making the partnership effective(Barteland et.al.,

1. Project partnership- The Project partnership is the first model of the partnership which is
working for the development of the health care and social care services. The project partnership
is the time-limited partnership and it is working for the benefit of the health and social care
centre. The model of the project partnership is useful for the effective health and social care
services. This types of partnership make the project efficient. So this type of partnership is
working for the proper project. So it is the effective and efficient model of the project
partnership.
2. Problem-orientation partnership- The problem oriented partnership is the useful for the health
and social care services. For which it reduce the problem and minimise the risk of these centre.
In the model of the problem-oriented partnership, this partnership is reduce the problem which is
come the health and social services. It minimise the all kind of problem which is harmful for the
effective partnership. This problem-oriented partnership is useful in the health and social care
services. So it is the problem-orientated model of the partnership(Grass, Rensing and Solioz,

3. Ideological partnership- The Ideological partnership should be considered in the decision
making. This ideological partnership help in the decision making. It provide the effective

social care centre. The Ideological partnership is totally based on the effective decision making.
4. Ethical partnership- This is the one and last model of the partnership which is working

based on the true ethics. The St. Patrick's international college which is also working on
the ethical partnership. This partnership model improve the standard of living of their
college student and their patients. So it is the better and effective model of the Ethical
partnership for the health and social care services. These all are the effective model of the
partnership in the health and social care service(Fook and Gardner, 2012).

Every partnership firm have to conduct its business operations according to the rules set
by the government. The laws related to conducting the partnership business are as follows:

Partnership act 1890: Act 1890 act defines the partnership when two or more than decides to
conduct a commercial business activity with the mutual understanding is known as partnership.
Under this all the duties, rights and liabilities of a partner are describes.

meetings between the partners. They keep their personal assets with company assets. Hence, it is
one of the best method through which partnership can be created.
Limited partnership:According to this form, partners liability is limited with the amount
of investment which they invest in the business. Like general partnership their personal assets
are also not going to complete the debt and liability of the firm. They are the silent investors of
the company and it is not a compulsory subject for them to attend the meetings of partners.
Limited liability partnership: It can only be created with the help of certain type of
[professional business services like accountant, architects, dentist etc. The procedure which is
related with the assets and liabilities in which partners personal assets are related with the
business. Their debts and liabilities are not get completed by the partners personal assets.

Partnership means when two or more persons are made a contract in which there has
some rules and regulations those are has to follow by both parties. In the health ans social care
sector two or more agencies and companies working in the partnership firm for to do effective
works for society and public health care. In the society not require all persons are affordable
private hospitals for their health check ups and treatments (Fook,and Gardner,2012). So
government of the country had open some government agencies for public that helps to provide
treatments at cheap rate and without taking charges. For providing services to public and society
so governments were start many things and agencies. In the partnership some agencies like
housing agencies, hospitals, NHS(national health service) all these are start working with
together. These agencies are start to resolve all problems and issues regarding health of society's
persons and try to give proper satisfaction to them. Social Care Act of 2012 provide help to
public and society relating to health issues at cheap or without taking charges. Its coordinating to
all rules and regulations in the health and social care departments and provide good quality of
treatments to them so they can easy to trust on the government agencies and hospitals.
Partnership in the health and social care agencies wants to set a effective image in the market and
also in the public. So they can be develop their business for society benefits. If these agencies are
providing better services and treatments to public so increase to standard of living and society
will be without any health issues and problems those are faced in the past by public. For start a
partnership in health and social care sector so has to be follow some rules and regulations those
are made by the government of the country and some rules are made by the agencies and
hospitals partners (Georghiou,and et.al.2012). At this time all private sectors wants to start
government agencies for help to public health. And wants to build a image in the market. If this
agency give proper satisfaction to public so they can easy to build trust on patients and improve
profit level of the organisation. This types of agencies has all rights and control by government
of the country. If these agencies are will doing some fraud with public and society so
government can take charges and cancel the license of the partnership. In the other hand there are

Partnership working for user services, professional and organisations of various possible
outcomes those are help to develop all these kind of agencies and provide proper treatments to
public its help to build a effective image in the market. Partnership in health and social care help
to manage all society and try to give proper life without any health issues and problems. All the
partners of health and social care departments if they can do proper coordinating with each other
so they can provide proper treatments, medicines, check up facilities and funding from the higher
authority of the agency (Gibb,2011). In this partnership include hospitals, NHS(national health
service), housing agencies those are help to developing their business and providing a effective
treatments to patients and give proper satisfaction to them. Its help to develop health and social
care agencies in the society and in the public. Its also help to build trust on them so they will
easy to take trust and take proper treatments through these kind of agencies. These agencies are
control and regulated by the government of the country they made some effective rules and
regulation those are has to be follow if they will not so government take charges and punishes
and also through the government can be cancel the license of the partnership agency
(Hagen,Denicolai,and Zucchella, 2014). Partnership method including many persons and
agencies those are help to develop and health care agencies in the society so they can tale
facilities at the cheap rates those are provided by the government of the country. Services
providers, professionals, doctors, chemists and all government members are coordinating with
each other so they will be provide all services and facilities to patients and on the time suitable
medicines to health issues of patients. Through this agency receive some positive outcomes like
improved services of health treatments and services to society, autonomy in the market and its
help to make informed decision making regarding health care work and services (Hisrich,2012).

This type of partnership includes housing agencies, hospitals and government agencies,
they regulate all the activities which is related to the health and social care. There are many
problems which can arise in partnership while they are working in health and social care
services. The description of those barriers are mentioned as below -
Dealing with complexity: When the people who are the part of partnership do any health
and social work then they have to deal with complexity. If the data which is used by people is
imperfect then there is an issue of complexity arise. Prevent the health of people is very
challenging task for the people. Decisions which is taken by the people, it is necessary to think
according to the national and international level. Some of the people can not measure the output
and not concerned about the outcomes, so it is necessary for the partnership firm to focus on each
and everything which is related to the health and social care.
Cultural issue: This is the very effective barrier that can affect the partnership firm who
is involve in the health and social care. Every people has their own way of doing work. Every

services .
There various kinds of health and social services provided in the market to serve the consumers.
There are lots of institutes which work together for welfare of the society. But these society also
faces lot many problem to serve its services and products like employment, financial,
management problems, operation problems , health care problems. So solve this problem they try
to merge or have partnership to over come these problems and serve best to the society. There
are lots of issue which rises between the partnership clients and it also effect the services to
customer so to solve these issues some strategies should be implement to give quality of services
and make customer satisfied.
1. Maintain the secrecy:- there should be secrecy level maintain so the customer and
clients get the maximum satisfaction as well as they feel safe to share the important
information with us.
2. Having the clients for longer run:- the clients and staff within the partnership they
should have longer interest in the particular work if they serve the services for the shorter
period the customer will not get adequate services and this will lead to the dissatisfaction.
3. Full excess of information:- there should be easy flow of the information to every
partnership clients so they should know what they need to do and what is actually going.
Transparency should be there to maintain the harmony between the clients.
4. Conflicts should be solved on time:- if there is any disagreement between the clients it
needs to solved immediately to increase the productivity and future performance. If some
