INTRODUCTION
Heath and social care is the people who work for the well being of people or for society.
The duty of a health and social care worker is to take care about the health of their society and
patient so that they can successfully provide them the best and healthy life. It is very much
important for the social care takers and health professional to work with partnership as their
single and sole motive is same i.e. to serve the society with good health and treatment. Working
with partnership and coordination will help in achieving the sole goal in a more speedy and
effective manner. This report will discuss about the philosophy behind working with partnership,
barriers which the health professional faces while working in partnership along with the role of
personal budget and its impact upon the people who are working in partnership. This report also
discusses about the positive impact when working in partnership (Greenberg, and et al., 2020).
TASK 1
Explain the philosophy behind working in partnership
It will be very much profitable and beneficial if the health and social care professional
work in partnership. Working in partnership helps in understanding the scenario or the case for
the patient in a more effective manner and the combined work will directly or indirectly will give
benefit to the patient. It has been observed that when different parties are combined with a single
case the more deep study about the patient can be performed and more effective methods for
treatment can be brought up. This collaboration can be in form of communication where the
involved party can communicate with each other about the case. Here coordination and
cooperation plays a very major role as through these two only the goal for social care can be
achieved in an effective manner. There can be a high chance of a situation where the parties
involved might get into an indifferent opinion but they should keep in mind the true and sole
purpose for their collaboration and must act accordingly. The key to proper coordination is
performing the proper planning, coordination, monitoring, sharing of information and effective
implementation of the same. Apart from that working in partnership can also be very much
beneficial for the parties involved also (Jørgensen and Rendtorff, 2018). The parties involved
will get a chance to work with the people of different studies of field with different experiences.
These parties will get to learn more from them with adds on to their knowledge; they also will
learn more about listening skills, communication skills, skills related to coordination and
cooperation and much more. It also has been observed that when more opinions and suggestion
are provides to a patient situation, more effective treatments can be provided to them. The health
professionals would have ample of suggestion and alternatives from which they can choose that
option which can provide the effective and best results to the patient. But to achieve the best
results it is very important for the parties involved to work with cooperation and much
coordination.

Explain the potential barriers to working in partnership
There can be the various barriers when working in partnership, some of them can be as
follows:
Crisis in management: The parties which are involved in the partnership may face the barrier in
managing the resources properly. When two or more parties are involved the management
becomes little hard to perform. Therefore management can be the potential barrier to partnership.
The barrier can be in organising, planning and implementing the tasks and things which can
result into confusions, misunderstandings and conflicts. Due to these the actual goal of the
parties involved cannot get achieved.
Communication problem: This might possible that the involved parties may face the problem
of communication. They may feel insecure or may not give the equal chance and opportunities to
put their suggestions and opinions on table. The ineffective communication can cause unsatisfied
parties and a feeling of unvalued person in the motive. Bad communication can create a great
hustle and bustle among the work and parties involved which might results into non achievement
of task.
Different behaviour: It can also be possible that the behaviour of people or parties involved is
very much alike from each other (Lewis and et al., 2017). This difference in behaviour can cause
delay in decision making process, ineffective results, conflicts, lack of interest, confusions and
much more which is not good for the ultimate goal and objective.
TASK 2

education. When performing works with different people who carries their own skills,
knowledge and experiences and enable the other person to learn some of them from his
experiences. This can adds on to a person knowledge or learning.

professional is to serve the people or citizen so that they can bring the improvements in their
health. This objective can more effectively achieve through the strategy of partnership working.
When the involved parties in partnership working are able to treat the patient correctly and
releases him with good health then a sense of satisfaction automatically develops in them. This
sense of satisfaction brings more motivation and sense of belongings in these health care
professionals.
Critically explore the concept of “communities of practice” and its influence on partnership
working
Communities of practice are a concept in which the people of same goals or interest come
together and work together so to achieve and fulfil their goals. In such way the goals of both the
individual and group can get met. Regular communication is the important and paramount part of
communities where they set different goals and objectives along with the plan about how they
will achieve that goal (Morley and Cashell, 2017). The meeting between the group members or
held either through face to face or through web chart. Here all the members put their suggestion
about their next goal which they must go for along with the ways and strategies which they can
use for achieving the goal. Likewise the health and social welfare groups are also gets created.
The members in that have the goal and sole objective of providing the good health caring and
treatments to society and patient. In such group the people with various health professional areas
come together, set their objective along with the planning through which they can achieve their
goals.
When the members of these communities participate, they follow a particular code of conduct so
that all the members involved gets the equal opportunity to put their opinions and suggestions on
the table, equal opportunity to speak and act. Through these communities or partnership the
parties involved learn to put themselves before others. All the members put their full efforts to
achieve their goal i.e. to provide good health care treatments to society and patience. Partnership
working has a positive impact upon the degree of results get from these collaborative workings.
Role of personal budgets and its impact on working in partnership with service users
The budget is a document which states about the financial arrangements about the
resources. This budget will help the organisation or individual in forming a layout about the
activities which they have to carry out. The personal budget role is making an individual
understand upon the scope of their activities which they perform. The budget puts a major impact
upon the kind of operational activities carries out in a group or in a partnership. The parties
involved will form a budget and together they will decide the areas where they will spend their
funds. The budget allocation should be such that it fulfils the objective in a very effective manner
(Park and Canaway, 2019). Budget is set after planning out the major goals and objectives of the

Evaluate the impact of child abuse enquires on government thinking on working in partnership
Working with cooperation and coordination will help the government in decreasing the
case of child abuse in a state. It is not the responsibility of the government but also the society in
getting decrease in the cases of child abuse. When the different communities or parties
collaborate they from their skills and now knowledge would help in making the corrective
actions so that change can be brought up in the society. But cooperation between these agencies
or parties is very much important to reduce the cases of risk in child abuses. People or
individuals who have a keen interest in saving the society from the risks of child abuse must
come together and form a communities so that they collaborate with each other so that they can
work together in a better and effective manner (Slade, 2017).

exchanged. The parties give their own opinions and suggestion according to their own
experiences and knowledge. This will help in bringing up many alternatives on the table upon
which the party can choose one which gives the best results.
Sharing of resources: The resources can get share among the parties involved. This will help in
proper allocation of required resources. When the party has all their resources which they need
then the goal or the objective can achieved in an effective manner.
Capital involvement: The parties involved in a partnership will share the capital in a definite
ratio. The ratio can be equal or it can be possible that one party can share more capital as
compared to the capital shared by another party (Ward and et al., 2018). When the capital is
collected from two or more parties then the burden of getting the required capital is less.
