INTRODUCTION
Nursing is considered as most important and reliable profession within the health care
sector which helps in caring of individuals, families and communities for serving quality health
care services. This essay distinguishes my opinion for nursing as well as provides important
attributes for exemplary nurse.
MAIN BODY
Nurses are primarily focused on patients care in health and social care units. Nurses has
to work in variety of specialities which helps them to recover their patients’ health and to
prevent the patients from being ill. In the 21st century nursing is considered as a glue that holds
patients healthcare journey and positive health outcomes. My passion for nursing is different
according to me because I believe nursing is one of the rewarding fields which builds
confidence for quick decision making. My passion for nursing involves:
Caring: In my opinion nurses are considered as the individuals who have passion to
care patients and individuals for promoting health.
Desire: I feel nurses are the individual who play significant role on lives of patients and
their families. The care providers set an example of care for the service users which allows
them to teach level of quality health care services.
Respect: During learning I realized that respect is utmost criteria which distinguishes
me and my passion for nursing because, I feel when someone recognises me as a nurse it makes
me proud and confident for my field and services.
A valued nurse is considered as a one who controls the staff and schedules the process
of organisation by collaborating work of professional in health care to achieve high quality
patients’ outcomes. The nurse while practising consider certain attributes which help in
managing satisfactory services. Attributes of exemplary nurse comprise communication skill
which helps the care workers in managing proper interaction with patients and their families. I
will incorporate use of effective interaction in my training and career as it will help me in
demonstrating my interest.
Further, nursing ethics is another attribute which helps in managing quality patient
centred care which comprise respect for autonomy, beneficence, non- maleficence. Implying to
nursing ethics during training and career will be beneficial for me in reflecting my passion for

nursing and delivering quality health care services. Paying attention of details of patient
diagnosis, health and medication is another attribute which helps the health care providers in
managing high quality patients’ outcomes. Implying to this attribute in training and career will
help in responding quickly and critical thinking which will support quick decision making.
While undergoing training the ethical attribute that is inside me would help me to understand
the things more quickly and also the ethical practices would conclude by me while seeking
training.
CONCLUSION
From the above it is seen that being a nurse is a most satisfied profession in the world
and it is mostly reputed. Nurses requires high level of knowledge and proficiency for doing the
work. As there are various attributes which are followed by nurses like communication,
attention to details and implication of nursing ethics while performing job.
