The study assesses the credibility, auditability, and fittingness of the research, ensuring the findings are applicable beyond the immediate study context. The research involved interviews with nurses and patients to explore their experiences and perspectives on communication. The analysis employed thematic analysis, paradigm cases, and exemplars to identify key themes and patterns. The report highlights the importance of effective communication in fostering closeness, partnership, and improved patient outcomes, emphasizing the relational continuum and the role of power in these interactions. The findings suggest that communication is essential during patient treatment and care. The report references key literature to support its analysis, providing a comprehensive understanding of the complexities within patient-provider relationships.

Credibility
Yes the participants are given permission to recognize their experience. The researcher in
this study had used interpretive phenomenology method for the study, in which the participants
can interpret by their own and understand the situation according to them (Fox & Chesla, 2008).
The participants were provided with adequate time. They were first interviewed in a
group of 5 for two times for 1.5 hour which was then followed by the group of 11 for 1.5 hours.
Then they again selected for the personal interviews which are sufficient for the participants.
Auditability
Me as a reader can follow the researcher’s thinking as they had explained the paper in
proper manner. They had properly proved the context by explaining the details of the literature.
They had provided the details of the sample population, the methods, collection of data and the
analysis of data. Also, explained the findings which proved that a communication is very
necessary for closeness (Sandelowski, 2015).
Yes the researcher documented the paper appropriately. He had mentioned the conceptual
framework, provided the proper information about sample, method, data collection and data
analysis
Fittingness
The findings are applicable outside the study situation as the communication between the
patient and the healthcare worker are being established. This communication is very helpful
during the treatment of the patient (Ritholz et al., 2014).

The results of this study are clearly mentioned in the findings which includes the
statement of the participants, the continuum of the connection, partnership and its types,
relational continuum and mentioned the amount of power
The strategy used is compatible for the study as the analysis involved various readings
which had started first with the interview group. They examined that both the assignment are
mainly returning to its original form for discovering the meaning. The Interpretive
phenomenology mainly includes the usage of 3 modes that are interconnected along the content:
themes, paradigm cases and exemplars. All of the three models are being used during this
research. In this study the exemplars and the paradigm cases were mainly recognized. The cases
of paradigm are the strong examples of appropriate ways of doing practices (O’Brien et al,
2014). At last it can be said that the comparisons that were cross-narrative are prepared for
determining whether the meanings could be identified which are being shown in one case or
more. Thematic analysis in this study describes the themes present in the text. This occurred
concurrently along with the reading and the discovery of cases of paradigm and the exemplars.
