1PATIENT CARE
The different techniques on patient care and pharmacology are discussed and it
comprises of mobile radiography and sterilization. Mobile radiography is the procedure that
is performed beside the patient’s bed and it also requires distinct mobile radiographic
division. The general guidelines are discussed that would be required to check the patient’s
condition using mobile radiography (Kjelle & Lysdahl, 2017). The advantages of using
radiography in surgery is highlighted in the lecture notes that will exhibit the benefits of
using radiography with the steps that should be focused by the hospital staff members like
maintaining sterile field, sterile clothes, surgical clothing and different safe and effective
surgical setup with proper surgical guidelines. The complete procedure of sterile field setup
training was explained in the lecture notes that should be used by the healthcare providers
and staff members for sterile field within the hospital setting. The healthcare provider should
make sure that there is no patient present in the room and later clean the surface or disinfect
the surface. The next step would be to wash or rinse the hands thoroughly with properly
placing the instruments on the tray that is sterile and free from any contamination
(Chcp.zoom.us, 2019). The entire process of sterile field setup was explained that would help
the doctors to treat the patient efficiently and follow the complete sterilization procedure to
reduce any chances of contamination by following different procedures like autoclaving, dry
heat, chemical and conventional gas sterilization. Hence, the concept of mobile radiography
and sterilization was explained in detail that would allow the healthcare providers to treat the
patient efficiently.
