Cons- Along with all the benefits of PDHPE STAGE 2 there are also certain drawbacks for
this program some of the drawbacks are mentioned below:
Uneven results: it is often seen that student choose this as an escape from their rest of the
curriculum because they consider PDHPE STAGE 2 to be easier then rest of their academy
subjects (Lim, 2019). It is also seen that coaches are often criticise for including this in the
curriculum because it is often seen that the athletic kids are supported by coaches, whereas all
those who are not that good in the sports are ignored by them. It is important that equal
attention is paid to every student and also more attention must be given to the weaker ones so
that equal development and even results can be seen in them.
Lack of choices: It is many a times seen that students opt for this because they do not have a
number of choices available with them and they are forced to participate in this. They do not
want to perform and which results in absenteeism. It is necessary that the educators make
sure students taking part in this programmed are not forced to do it but they have interest in
this.
Analysing all the above pros and cons of PDHPE stage 2 it can be concluded that the
course is definitely beneficial to students rather than some of its drawbacks. It brings in
