INTRODUCTION
Personal development plan is a strategic plan that involve aim, objectiveness and
strategic direction to achieve the best level of personal learning objectives. This project
comprises with analysis, setting goal and personal objective associated with development plan.
Part B: Personal Development Plan
Stage 1: Analysis
Analysis is about the internal capability and potential as an individual. This section
comprises with individual strength, weakness, opportunity and threat of an individual.
Strength
I contain the following strengths that could develop and growth my overall personality.
Communication skill: I carry a strong communication skill that always support me to interact
with different people. In professional and academic life communication skill become the key to
achieve success as in order to gain knowledge and exposure you always required to
communicate with other people (Bombard and et.al., 2018). This skill could favour to address all
my possible challenges part of my job role.
Sound listening skill: I carry sound listening skill. This could allow me to listen all the
important discussion properly. This ability also support me to take the best level of decision
related to academic and professional life.
Decision making skill: I carry strong decision-making skill as an individual. This ability could
favour me in taking best level of decisions. In academic and professional life taking right
decision allow you to achieve all the goals.
Weakness
I carry the following weakness in my personality.
Management skill: I carry a very poor management skill. Both time management and work
management are weak. This could suffer me many problems to achieve my aim and objectives.
Poor management skill could also reduce my overall work efficiency and productivity (Di Fabio,
2017).
Analytical skill: I contain a very weak analytical skill. This could resist me in analysing actual
market condition and situation. Analytical skill required in improving situational awareness and
to assess the problem more efficiently.

Observation skill: I have poor observation skill. This is among the major weak area associated
with my personality. Due to ineffective observation skill I could not observe situation effectively
that further reduces my ability to analysis of the situation.
Opportunity
Following are the opportunities I carry in my personality.
Skill development opportunity: I carry the strong skill development opportunity. This
opportunity will allow me to grow my overall personality and to improve my growth potential as
an individual.
Personality development opportunity: Developing overall personality is another key area
where I can develop and grow. This is the major opportunity I carry as a part of personal
development planning.
Career growth expansion opportunity: This is another major opportunity I carry as a part of
personal development plan. I carry a huge possibility to cherish my carer growth.
Threat
Following are the threat I contain.
Competition: This is a major threat I contain. Competition is aggressive in nature and it can
overshadow my ability as an individual.
Stage 2: Setting goal
In the personal development plan goals will be set based on SMART technique. This
consumes specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and time based approach to set the goal.
Specific: The goal of the personal development plan is to improve the overall skill part of the
personality. The only aim in this strategic plan is to grow different hard and soft skill which are
not strong enough in my personality (Jaarsma and et.al., 2017). The aim is to work opn my
strong areas as a part of personal development plan so that best level of growth opportunities can
exposed in my favour during the professional career I enjoy.
Measurable: Success of strategic plan will be monitored with support of regular performance
based assessment. Monitoring will be done by professional to make the strategic plan more
measurable in my account. Measuring the success of strategic direction become necessary to
approach high level of work ability as an individual.

Achievable: The goal set for strategic plan is achievable. With the support of right strategies and
approaches all objectives and aim behind the entire plan can meet. Proper and regular
monitoring will also allow me to achieve my strategic goals in timely manner.
Realistic: This is realistic to achieve the strategic goal. Previously also I could improve and
develop different hard and soft skill through the personal development plan.
Time based: This plan will be formed for next one year.
Explain setting goal
Through the strategic goal I want to learn some of my skills like management skill,
analytical skill and observation skill. I want to approach this development plan with support of
right strategic choices and option that can guide me towards right direction where I can meet all
my objectives. I will implement continuous measuring practices that will support me to ensure
the best level of development in my personality (Manyika and et.al., 2017). Continuous
measurement practice will allow me to monitor constantly so that all aim and objectives could
have been meet in the strategic direction. I will also take regular review from professional so that
they can guide me in right direction. The target time for this plan is next one year.
Stage 3: Personal Objectives
My short term objective in this plan is to ensure all potential area where I can develop
and grow. This will provide huge support to me in achieving the right direction for my personal
development plan. The medium objective is to identify the suitable practices or approaches that
can favour me in improving my skill and abilities (Soto, 2019). This also involve assessing all
the possible ways to measure my improvement. The medium objective is also to set regular time
interval on which I will measure the success of this personal development plan. The long term
objective behind the plan is to achieve all the set goal and objective behind the personal
development plan.
CONCLUSION
Personal development plan will encounter different skills like management, analytical
and observation skill. All these skills will approach through professional level of coaching and
guidance. Regular timely monitoring will also conduct to assess the success of strategic
direction. This plan is set for one year time duration.
