INTRODUCTION
Personal development planning is the self-evaluation that generally incorporates with the
process of developing the action plan on the basis of awareness, values, goal setting and personal
aspects (Chambers, Wakley and Blenkinsopp, 2018). It helps the individual in order to grow in
their career and for their self-improvement. Following report will cover the PDP that covers the
understanding in career planning and factors which have impact over the career trajectories. It
also covers the demonstration of the skills and abilities.
MAIN BODY
Reflection
I always used to be an introvert person but I have always used to familiar with my interest
in things which makes me more concern about to do such things in order to incorporate with my
desired goals. As for me I always have interest in digital branding that aims to create an online
brand identity which can be expressed on virtually over any digital channel. It is important for
me to have the technical knowledge to be proficient in this field, it is essential for me to have
knowledge in data analytics, and greater understanding in Search engine optimisation and
content marketing. Self-reflection is always being a good practice that helps in reflecting back
over the experiences (Dotson and Valenzuela, 2020). Throughout the lecture over the digital
branding I was very attentive because it is related to my interest. I have learned about how digital
branding can be done and what specific skills and knowledge is required in order to make career
in this field. It will be better to use Gibb’s reflective cycle that helps in systematically
understanding the past experience that helps in supporting the future learning. Its stages are as
follows:
Description: Initial stage of Gibbs model which states about what has happened and when and
where did it happen (El Miedany, 2019). It is all about experience which I have gained in the
project task that is about digital branding. Before commencing with task I was nervous because
of lack of digital or technical skills, as it involves the use of IT platform like apps, social media,
videos and many more. But with the support of tutor and peers make me feel confident about
project. Me and my team has proceeded with dividing the work in a different modules and each
of us has selected the piece of work according to our strength and weakness, it was my idea as it
helps in completing the project in timely and efficient manner. Before working on this I have

worked on enhancing my technical skills in order to incorporate with project objectives. I have
taken the online lessons, I have watched you tube videos in order to work with social media tools
and apps for digital brand project.
Feelings: Initially I was nervous because it is my first digital brand project, but after divided
work I feel confident that me and my team will be able to deliver the possible outcome. But
when I realised that we could not be able to hand in project like it was, I was quite disappointed
and therefore I was feeling discouraged at that time. But after knowing the fact that this project
will be our initial step for success I started working even more harder, I also encouraged my
team mates to remember our mission to deliver this project with greater efficiency. after deciding
the name for digital brand project and finalised the designing of brand we feel motivated as it is
the major task which we have done earlier before the final time which we have set for every task.
Evaluation: Overall it was a good experience which I have encountered so far, I have
improvised my technical skill, moreover I also learn about the designing of digital brand project
as what colours, alignment is suitable. Overall I have learned the good skills and knowledge. The
things which helps us so far is our work ethics, as everyone was aware of their task role that
helps us in working for the project. The thing which went wrong is that to design brand logo we
have decided particular limit of time but due to availability in resources we missed the deadline.
But after the contribution of every team member we were able to decide the project logo.
Analysis: In my opinion splitting the work in modules were good strategy as it helps us to show
our talent and skills in order to complete the task with full dedication (Sharples and Levett,
2020). This approach has saved our lot of precious time which we have invested in making our
project more useful and attractive, because it would be good when digital brand is attractive and
appealing. Me and my team also has worked on to design the visual identity for the project, we
have selected the visual communication by keeping the mission
Conclusion: Overall I can say that I have developed the range of knowledge and skills while
working on this project. I have developed the technical knowledge and also enhanced the
communication skills. Overall I got to know as how to select brand name, logo and its message, I
have also come across to the facts that selection of visual communication and other things is
important for the better and efficient digital branding. Additionally, I have also developed the
leadership skill and time management skill, I have lead my team throughout the project, also
division of work in different modules helps us a lot in order to complete the project.

Action plan: If I have to do such things in future I will be able to do such project again, I have
developed the strength and skills that will help me to do such projects in my career as well. I
have interacted with different social media apps and platform and also gain the specific skills.
Therefore, overall I have developed the confidence in order to do such tasks. I will move further
to enhance the knowledge and to practice all skills in order to be successful in my life.
CONCLUSION
From the above report it is concluded that PDP helps in evaluating knowledge and
experience that helped in improvising in oneself for the better outcomes. It has illustrated the
description about experience which the individual has developed during working on digital brand
project.
