INTRODUCTION
Increase in the ability of staff members through education and training opportunities can
be defined as the professional development. In simple words personal and professional
development can be defined as a Process which is undertaken for the purpose of engaging the
individual or Organization in the process of learning in order to improving their skills so that
they can easily achieve the goals and targets by meeting the challenges. Below mentioned report
is based on the the personal and professional development along with several types of goals. In
addition to this it also include a personal development plan along with revaluation table having 8
sources in the report plan.

Personal and professional development
Professional and personal development are the the process which provide guidelines and
outlines in order to who developed the professional and personal skills of individual and
Organization. In the professional life of individual skills plays an important role as it gives shape
to the opportunities for long term. Individual always take the help of personal and professional
development plan for the purpose of enhancing the growth and development in the near future.
Short Term Goals
The goals which are made for the short duration of time period is known as short term goals.
Goals are made for the the time period of less than 6 months. These goals are very helpful for the
individual because it create effectiveness in the results so that they can improve the skills as soon
as possible. Some examples of short term goals are given below:
Communication skills
Decision making skills
Creative skills
Medium Term Goals
Medium term goals are referred to those goals which which have been developed for the
time period of more than one year but less than five years. These goals always lies between the
short term and long term goals as a bridge between them. In order to reaching to the long-term
goals the individual have to cross with their medium term goals as well. Examples of medium
term goals are as follows:

Problem solving skills
Management skills
Long Term Goals
Long term goals are the ones which are developed for achieving in the time period of more than
five years. The main objectives of such goals are the self improvement of an individual which is
