Introduction
The field of education has emerged to occupy a significant position within the lives of the
people in the contemporary society. With the advent of globalization, the territorial borders of
the society have been eroded in a metaphorical sense. This has led to the people to migrate from
one place to the other for various reasons. One of the most important reason for migration is that
of earning a decent standard of living. Within the frame work of the contemporary society, the
field of education has taken a primary role since it has a direct correlation with the issue of
standard of living (Hazari, North and Moreland 2019). In other words, the more information and
education an individual accumulates, the more he or she is able to utilize such information in
their daily lives. In this context, it can be seen that with the onset of migration, the individuals of
the society are required to speak and communicate in the language of the host countries. As a
result of this, there is a need on the part of the education institutions of the world to impart
knowledge on modern foreign languages to their students on the basis of the fact that it might
prove to be useful to them in the event of migration (McLaren 2016). The purpose of this paper
is to discuss about the importance of the impartation of modern foreign language to the boys
enrolled in educational institutions. The aims of the enquiry have been stated in the paper and
this has been related to the values involved in the idea of pedagogy. The paper also mentions
about the importance of action research which is significant for empirical research. The paper
concludes with the importance of the need of pedagogy for the educational institutions.
Aims of the assignment
The main objective of this paper is to understand the importance of motivation required
for the boys to learn a modern foreign language. In this context, the aims of this assignment can
be stated as follows –

Aim of enquiry
The aim of this enquiry is to understand the need for motivation to impart education to
the children enrolled within any educational institutions. The field of studies require patience and
concentration. As a result of this, the students need to be kept motivated and encouraged as they
are bound to lose their concentration during their period of study.
The purpose of this paper is to look in to the need for motivation for the boys of the
society to impart modern foreign language education to them. This sphere has assumed
importance as a result of the growing aspect of migration in the society. Furthermore, this is
more significant for the male members of the society since they are the ones who are more likely
to travel across continents in search of a better standard of living. In this context, the enquiry has
sought to understand the issue of motivation related to the dissemination of modern foreign

significance of critical reading (Thornberg 2016). Foreign language is difficult to study mainly
because of the differences in the formation of sentences and grammar that exists between that
language and the native language of the concerned individual. In this context, in the event that
the students of any educational institutions is taught about a modern foreign language, it is
essential that they should be taught about the important of critical analysis. This would provide
them with the enthusiasm to formulate their own opinions and make an analysis of the words and
sentences which are presented in front of them (Carrington et al. 2015). This, in turn, would help
them to understand and retain the information faster which is being imparted to them.
Another intervention was propounded was by Comber (2015) who believed in the
importance of values of pedagogy. He stated that the purpose of education was to broaden the
thinking capacity of the students with a view to bring about a transformational change in their
personality (Rose 2015). In this context, they should be taught in a manner which is consistent

Evaluation
The change in pedagogy is dependent to a large extent on the approval level of the
students. In this context, it can be seen that certain students agreed to the changes brought about
in their pedagogy in the teaching of a modern foreign language, while some students were not
comfortable with the changes brought about. Out of a class room of 50 students of class 8, aged
12-13 years, it can be seen that -

From the above graph, it can be seen that the changes proposed in the pedagogy of the
students in the form of a socio-cultural intervention, was accept by a group of 36 students out of
50 students in a class room. This shows that majority of the students have realized the
importance of the need of motivation to study a modern foreign language in a manner which is
harmonious and peaceful for all the ethnicities of the society. This is significant to understand
because the issue of multiculturalism has taken a strong foot hold within the frame work of the
society. There is a need on the part of the teachers to keep the male members of the society
motivated to study a foreign language for the purposes of them migrating to the another part of
the world in search of a better standard of living.
Conclusion
In conclusion, it can be stated that the main purpose of this paper is to look in to the need
for motivation for the boys of the society to impart modern foreign language education to them.
