incentives doesn't motivate employees.

be demotivating for others.
When employees feel equally and fairly treated they will feel
motivated, but in case they feel ill-treated or unfairly, this will

Effective Team Building theory proposed by the Tuckman.
Tuckman's team building theory includes five steps which are discussed below:
Forming: In this stage team members are assembled and allocation of tasks. In this
initial step of team building they behave independently and unaware of each other.
Storming: In the second stage team members start supporting the task and suggest
new ideas relevant to complete it. Also, the relationships made or broken among
them during this stage (Siregar, Pane and Ruman, 2018). They show their
capabilities and sometime they even challenge their team leaders as well.
Norming: In third stage the team moves to work in harmony and support each
others. They give their contribution in the team, they agreed on the mutually
decided rules to operate the team. Sometimes team leaders step back, to give the
chance to deserving candidate and appoint him to handle greater responsibility.

Performing: In the era of high performance, not every team can achieve the
performing stage. The teams which performs well are defined by the ir dedication,
independence, knowledge and motivation along with the competence. They have
collaborative decision-making criteria with possessing respects and attention towards
each other.
Adjourning and Transforming: This is last stage of effective team building, as team
can be return to any stage of this model. So it fails to attain the stability in making
strong teams. There are various reason for the breaking of the teams like no mutual
understanding, ego, attitude, unawareness towards given tasks and unsupportive
behaviour possessed by the individual in the team (Fritz, Deschenes and Pandey, 2018).
So it leads to adjourning stage and transforming the team by replacing the particular
team member who is not eligible to stay in the team. Sometimes whole team is again
developed to achieve the desired success.
