INTERVIEW PRACTICE
Interview is the process where the job-seekers can demonstrate their
capabilities to the representative of the company such that they get hired as-per
their best quality. To have the best effect in the interview, the positive and the
negative aspect must be kept in mind. This is discussed in the section below.
Positive:
I was the only student who can use the look like a benefit. Wearing proper
clothing for an interview, so you can have confidence and advantage over
other candidates (Neumann and Neumann 2018).
According to the feedback from my colleagues, in the first questions, I did
not use the STAR technique (situation, action, and result) to answer the
questions, but when I noticed the lack of the technique, I immediately started
using it.
However, the interviewers pointed to the use of professional language and
clear answers (Millar, Crute and Hargie 2017).
Good eye contact and body language.
Negative:
By answering some questions, I lost focus by talking about unnecessary
subjects. This makes it clear that I need more concentration and attention on
the questions directed at me to maintain a good level of answers.
I need to mention examples of experiences from other jobs and not just
mention experiences from a single job. This may end up characterizing that I
had no experience in other activities and the interviewer understands that I
am not able to perform such a role.

For the purpose of employment of the suitable candidates, these centres
conducts various tests and examinations. It helps the candidates in the many
ways which I have discussed in the section below.
I really liked the assessment centre that was held in a group, so I can point out
both positive and negative factors.
Positive:
The fact that there was group involvement helped a lot to accomplish the
tasks, I was involved as much as possible listening carefully to other people
and also being heard.
At one point, it was shown that we had found the right solution to the
problem, but there would be money left over and that was exactly what I
would not want to happen. I had to redo the planning and convince the other
members that my position was more coherent (Meiring, Schlebusch and
Lowman 2016).
This contact with other people has shown me that I am able to perceive
details, to communicate clearly, but maintaining the resilience to obtain an
appropriate result.
Negative:
Although the commitment of all the members was not helpful, I managed not
to let it get in the way and I got on with the work (Iii 2016).
The goal was to use all the money, in some situations the team could not
make the proper use and was content with the easiest option.
