INTRODUCTION
People management is referred to the set of practices that contains end to end processes
of talent achievement, talent optimization and talent retention. In other word, to manage number
of people in the workplace effectively is known as people management or human resource
management. HR manager has ability to manage people within organization and supports them
encourages them to meet organizations’ objective over the period. Human resource management
use people management strategy to determine high potential leader while employees finds
training opportunities for improving their performance. It is important for the organization
because it supports to meet it’s vision and impacts it’s performance, productivity and operation
positively. People management is considered into soft leadership skill which is essential for the
manager because it supports them during period of uncertainty, change and transition. Manager
of the organization also enables to improve high productivity at the workplace via it’s affect on
staff morals and motivation as well. The brief study provides understanding role of people
management in the different type of organizations and impacts of organization structure on the
people at the workplace. This report assists to analyse organizational culture which impacts on
people in the organizations.

Impacts of organizational structure on people in the organization
Organizational structure can be defied as the system that outlines numerous business
activities i.e. task allocation, coordination and monitorization which are directed towards the
accomplishment of business aims. It also determines flow of information between numerous
levels in the company (Linneman, 2018). Most of the organization follows organizational

structure strategy within business so they can monitor each and every operation and functions at
the workplace and can convey message to the people prominently. It helps company to establish
good relationship between business managers and workers as well as gives authority to carry all
responsibilities and task on time. Organization structure is classified into different types i.e.
division, matrix, hierarchical, flat structure and others which shapes employees’ behaviours in
the different type of businesses either it is small or large and helps business owner to choose the
one structure that create best work culture for achieving defined strategic goals. Hierarchical
organizational structure provides systematic process of flow of information. In other word, this
structure differentiates different levels based on the power and allows them to convey it’s
message effectively (Moczydlowska and Adamski, 2019). It gives power to board of director
who is the owner of the organization for taking decision while chief executive officer is second
level of organizational structure who oversees all the department i.e. HR department, sales,
finance, R&D and regional department etc. While these departments are the third level of
Hierarchical organizational structure who manage employees or workers effectively at the
workplace. such kind organizational structure manages people effectively in the workplace and
motivates them to give high efforts in their performance so they enable to upgrade it’s position
from existing position. By the organization structure can understand it shapes people behaviour
and assists them to maintain their wellbeing within company (Saletti, 2016).
