INTRODUCTION
Organisational behaviour is concerned with the people at workplace, and management
relates to the accomplish business goals, and since organisational success relies on the human
inputs (Arsanti and et. al., 2021). It is the study of that how people interact in a group and
wokrplce. The company chosen in this report is FItflop that was set up on 26 November, 2007
and its registered office is situated in London. This company offer stylish range of the footwear
with a biomechanical technology which give comfort all the day. This report will include role of
leadership, organisational structure and culture, way to build effective team through motivation,
and identify attributes of the team development to contribute in the success of organisation.
Explain organisational structure, culture and role of a leader in relation to the organisational
changes
The organisational structure refers to the organisational movement from of state of the
affairs to another. This changing environment frequently requires in the organisation operation in
that environment. These changes is an essential aspect of the organisation operation and it can be
met with the resistance. To better facilitate essential changes , various steps can be taken which
have been proved to reduce employee's anxiety and ease the processes of transformation. During
the changes in the company, organisational structure and organisational culture play and importnat
role to implement these role. The leadership also very useful in this process. (Benuyenah, 2021).
In context of the Fitflop footwear company, it organisational structure, culture and leadership
approach are mentioned below:
Organisational structure- This system is used to define organisational hierarchy. It identifies its
function, jobs and where it report in the organisation. The organisational structure define that how
the activities such s coordination, supervision, task allocation are direct in order to accomplish the
organisational goals. The organisational structure also impact action taken by the business and
provide a foundation on which standard operating process and routines rest. It identify that which
employees get to participate in decision making process. There are several types of the
organisational structure (Huang and et. al., 2021). In context of the Fitflop, the company has
adopted hierarchical organisational structure, in which it contain direct chain of commend from
from top to bottom level of the organisation its higher authority take all critical decision that are

passed down through the subsidiary level of management. By this organisational structure, the
power is centralized due to which,it become easy to determine that which is authorizes for making
decisions. It make enable the organisation to implement changes effectively s the decision are
taken only top level of the management.
Organisational culture- It facilitate the accomplishment of organisational strategic goals, attract
skilled employees and make those workers who may not fit stand out. The organisational culture
involve the expectation, philosophy, experience as well s the value which guide the employees
behaviour in the organisation (Liu and et. al., 2021). There are different type of the organisational
culture which are discussed below:
Handy's cultural model
Power culture- There is normally a head honcho who had the power to make decisions
and also the the organisational direction. In this, only few people have the authority to
delegate responsibility and their subordinates have to follow their instructions.
Task culture- In this type of culture, the organisation focus on a specific task and it
depend on the teamwork. All team member has common interest and they come together to
achieve their common goals. All subordinated contribute equally to complete the given
task or project (Lumbert, L.M., 2021).
Person culture- In this, people feel that they are superior of the organisation and they
believe themselves as an important than the organisation. Employees just work with he
purpose to earn money and they are not so attached with the organisation.
Role culture- Under this culture, all team members are aware about their role and
responsibility as it clear specific role for a particular task. The employees get work
according their ability and capacity.
Fitflop, follow the role culture, as it provide the organisation with a lot of stability, continuity and
certainty. In this the qualification and other ability of the employees are measured and their task is
allotted to them according their performance. In this all workers are very clear regarding their job
role and authority. This culture impact how the workers are best managed on the basis of their
priorities bad values.

Leadership has a direct causes and impact on the organisational success. It determine
organisational culture, values, changes and motivate the employees. A leader play an important
role in the organisational changes. They are the one that motivate employees. Leaders work as a
change agent which have the ability to manage the organisational process in effective way (Mera,
Rodríguez. and Marin-Garcia, 2021). A leader play an important role during change in the
organisation. In context of the Fitflop, there are different role of the are which are discussed
below:
Clarify the vision and communication it effectively- Role of leader in the change
management need that they help employees by into their vision for their business
organisation. They require to communicate their goals and visions effectively to workers.
They communication very clearly so that the information conveyed in an understanding
manner.
Develop team strength over weakness- Team leader also help the subordinated to
identify their strength and weakness. After determining their that which members excels at
which task, they delegate required task to appropriate team member (McLaren and
Appleyard, 2021).
Identify team goals and evaluate the team progress- It is very important to determine
that what success means in order to measure the team success. The leader evaluate goals
and identify how the worker will measure success can prevent the miscommunication
(Mohsin Raza and Siddiqui, 2021).
Fitflop, has adopted the participative leadership style. It help the organisation to accept decision
more quickly. Workers are given personal stake in the success of the organisational polices by get
engaged in the process of creating and approving all the polices which help the respective
company to adjust quickly to policies changes. As in this leadership style, the employees are
encouraged to give their ideas and opinion in decision making process. Then it empowers the
works to utilize their creativity in order to development more productivity.

From the above report its is conclude that the organisational structure and organisational
culture play an important role ion the company's change management. There are different factors
through which the company motivate its employees. In this, leadership strategy is very essential s
the leader is one which has the ability to influence employees and team members. They play and
important role to implement the change in organisation and make enable the employees to adjust
in new changing environment. The company motivate their workers in different way such as
monetary and non monetary method. To get success, it is essential that at workplace, the team
perform effectively. By adopting the Belbin theory, it become easy to justify attribute of effective
team in the organisation as it hel0p the company to identify skilled and creative employees that are
very useful to attain their specific goals. The team building is also very essential as it help to make
an effective team in the organisation. In a team, there is possibility of conflict as each member has
their own through and ideas, but leader has the ability to eliminate all these clashes as they make it
easy to work in a team by clarify the roles and responsibility of all team members that help to
attaining the desired goal efficiently.
