Introduction
Reflections or the reflective style of writing is one of the ways through which the new
information, events, situations, experiences that are presented via a personal way of writing.
During the reflective writing s where the learning and the thinking take place. In the reflective
writing there is no wrong or the right approach, however, there are questions which need to be
explored. Reflection also provides a scope of learning and through the reflection, a student or a
person will be able to examine the situations and better understand the potential areas of
improvements and also identify the same.
Question 1
Through the Strenghtsquest survey and the coaching session with my success coach, I
was able to analyse myself based on my top five themes: woo, include, maximize, consistency,
futuristic. The strengthquest survey is a development program for the students and is an
engagement program for the students in the college and the high school. This survey provides a
guide that helps them to achieve the success in life, career and academics. The Stregthsquest is
backed by the powerful science of Gallup. The survey tells the students and the teachers and how
they can use their strengths and encourages the student growth and success. The survey is based
on the strength finder assessment, and after taking the assessment the top 5 strengths are
discovered. I also received the specific explanations in relation to the dominant strengths that
help to develop the necessary actions that are required to develop the strengths. The survey also
provides the suggestions that will help me to use the unique talents and help me to excel in the
activities that I will take in future.

I was surprised how palpitation the usually used to give me shocks and made me focus on
the most important task actually helped me to identify that I actually have in me the traits of a
futuristic person. Through this nature or talent is will to able to accomplish what I am presently
working. Although this may take some time or may take a week, a month or a year. But it is for
sure that I will be able to accomplish what I want to. The aspirations and the goals will help me
to stay focussed and also help me to keep moving forward. The tension, however, might hinder
me for some time. This in turn helps me to focus on the most important activity that I think the
situation demands. I was surprised to learn that once I came to know about the what can be
accomplished from a particular assignment, I will dive deep to work hard on the assignment and
will make it into a reality. It is also likely that the I feel enthused by what I can accomplish in the
upcoming week, months, year. Driven by my talents, I will be designing my future with the
forward-looking plans.
Question 3
After I completed The StrengthsQuest Survey, there were top five strengths of mine highlighted
in the results. Those were, consistency, woo, including, maximizer and futuristic. These five
strengths defined my personality and hence, it was an important assessment regarding my
characteristics. Within these, I think consistency is the primary rule that helps to develop one's
personality and set up a relationship with other people in the world (Cobb-Clark & Schurer,
2012). Consistency is the aspect that helps to develop momentum and make people aware of the
daily routine. For example, if a restaurant owner wants to spread his business around the world,
then his restaurant has to be consistent with the quality of the food as people will expect same
taste and quality each time they arrive. Therefore, consistency makes people stick to his or her

principles without being diverted to any concern of life. Further being consistent helps people to
become accountable, set short-term goals for himself so that it can be achieved and believing in
own self rather than depending on others motivation. Therefore, consistency was the aspect I
resonated towards (Krueger et al., 2012).
Question 4
This StrengthsQuest survey helped me to develop my personality as it provided me with an
insight view of my flaws and my strengths. The five strengths that were generated in my result, I
was not aware of it initially. However, while surveying, I opted for options that made me realize
the strengths of my personality (Thomas et al., 2012). Therefore, I will be using these skills in
my personal and professional developmental goals. Being consistent and futuristic will help me
to choose between available options hence I can develop traits of decider and strategist. As I am
an included, I will be able to work with a team and include each member of my team so that
cumulative ideas can be used for the organizational development. Hence, cultural fit and team
player will be my future plans. Further my strengths such as maximizer and woo will help me to
become consistently multi-tasker. Therefore, these are the ways through which I will be able to
sharpen my personality traits to develop my professional development goals and objectives.
Question 5
Success is always accompanied with traits that can limit the growth and development of the
individual. This statement is quite practical as being a success is a continuous process and we
have to be consistently successful to be successful in life. However, our own traits can be a
limitation to our success. With futuristic nature, comes the ability to sense of determining issues
in the process that made people fearful hence lost the courage to take risky decisions in life
(Thomas et al., 2012). Further with success people become lenient and procrastinated regarding

their work, therefore, hampering their efficiency to work. Therefore, these are the issues of one's
personality traits that can keep people away from their success. The only aspect of my strength
that can help me to overcome these effects of success is consistency that will help me to stay
focused on my work and keep diversions away. Therefore, using this feature of personality, I will
overcome the negative aspects of my personality (Cobb-Clark & Schurer, 2012).
Conclusion
Thus, from the above study, it can be concluded that the reflection can be helpful in the
development of the reflective learning ability and self-awareness. Reflection is a self-directed
learning and it helps in examining the abilities. The stregnthsquest survey helped me to analyse
myself and my goals and thus helped me identify my talents in a better way.
