For any organization, people play a very important role in achieving targeted goals.
People means employees who are the backbone of any organization. Performance means how
employees are performing and contributing to the respective company. The performance finds
out the level of knowledge and accuracy in the organization's people (Burchard, 2022). In this
case study, a discussion has been done on the different tools and techniques which improve
organizational performance. This report also covers the role of employee well-being in
improving motivation and performance. In the end, pestle analysis in relation to the BUNI travel
has been done.
What tools and techniques will help improve organizational
performance?
It helps an organization to identify employee performance in a measurable term by this company
gets to know about the level of knowledge and skills in an employee and how they are working
by which method. some examples of performance tools are- personal development plans,
performance appraisals. Techniques are the method or road map by which a company can able to
understand the performance of each and every employee to provide them performance rewards
according to their capabilities. Some of the tools and techniques which BUNI travels can apply
to their organization's structure plan in order to enhance performance, such are discussed as.
360-degree feedback:- This technique is used to measure performance by taking feedback
from superiors, subordinates, colleagues (Dahiya, 2021). With the help of this performance,
measurable tool employees are able to see the real picture of themselves how others think about
them, how they are to them. This is a very helpful technique by this, the company can measure
employee performance and according to the feedback they are rewarded. Most probably this
technique is done by middle-level and top-level management. BUNI travels can get the benefit of
better understanding between superiors and subordinates by regularly taking feedback on their
performance it can help them to find out the need for training and development. BUNI travels

proper knowledge of their objectives to their employees, though this company is very large, they
need to work on that (de Waal, 2021). Clear objectives can increase working performance and
can minimize time as all the objectives are very clear to all the employees and it can also
minimize errors. Management by objectives in BUNI travels describes all the predefined goals
and objectives to the organization's peoples and provide them a path on which employees can
achieve theirs. A clear vision and decided target will help the employees in increasing efficiency
and reducing errors.
Performance appraisal:- The term defines the overall performance of an employee within a
year. In this technique, company finds out employee performance on a daily basis. By applying
this technique in BUNI travels can get a proper view of their employee performance by
calculating their rewards, skills, appraisals, performance certificate, regular feedback. BUNI
travel is a total customer focus company their daily work is to deal with customers, so this
technique is very important to them to evaluate the overall performance and skills of employees
and finds out how their employees are dealing with customers and who achieves higher target
this will help the particular company to have a better look on their employees performance and
know their errors where they are lacking and by this they able to realize the need of training of

Improves productivity:- A healthy mind leads to more productivity. Proper involvement
of management, financial well-being, communications between superiors and subordinates,
timely training, increased number of leaves, are all these factors that can improve well being of
employees. In context to the company if all these factors are fulfilled by the company it will help
the employees by paying more contribution towards the company (Lindskog, and Magnusson,
2021). If mental and physical needs are fulfilled then it will definitely increase productivity.
Achieves all the objectives:- An employee is ready to give his 100% in contributing to the
company only when he is mentally stable and physically fit. BUNI travels should more focus on
the health of their employees who work for them very hard. The respective company can reduce
their working hours and also give more sick leaves. Due to this, the pressure of working hours
will decrease and it promotes efficiency. with efficiency, employees will be able to attain their
objectives easily. Objectives are the framework that employees have to achieve at a given time.
By this BUNI travels can achieve more growth through the timely achievement of goals.
Proper balance in work-life:- employees who are healthy and happy are more capable of
balancing their work life and professional life more effectively. A healthy body can solve many
problems in life. BUNI travels should pay more focus to health and nutrition for their employees.
In this company employees are doing overtime, they get sick but do not take leaves, they almost
forget themselves and their personal life they work for hours in order to achieve more targets
(Palermo, and et.al., 2022). In this organization, there is very tough competition among all the
employees. BUNI travels should reschedule working hours and arrange health awareness
programs every month. With this, all the employees will be healthy and will be in a state of
happiness and by this, they will easily handle both personal and work life.
CONCLUSION
From the above-mentioned report, it has been concluded that, if the management require
to stand in the marketplace for an effective period of time then the business always concentrates
on its performance. The performance of the business effectively relies on the performance of the
business it can be increased with the support of their diverse sort of techniques such as 360
degrees feedback, MOB, performance appraisals, and so on. The significance of the workers is

Political:- This factor includes all the rules and regulations imposed by the
government on every business. For example – taxes, environmental, social laws, labor
laws are some of the laws which industries have to follow. Political factor plays a vital
role in stopping the growth of many companies. One of the examples is travel companies.
Some of the political factors are-
Government tariffs:- This political factor is impacting the tourism sector very badly. Now the
mentality of the people is changed towards traveling now most people have a dream to travel the
world (Purwanti, 2021). BUNI travel also faces the same issue, here government taxes play an
important role when people travel they do lots of shopping for their family members, friends but
the problem they faced is they have to pay tax on some items and on some items, they get tax
relief but people from middle-class family have not ready to pay extra charge apart from travel
and shopping. If the government can exempt tariffs on a purchased item by tourists then it will be
a great opportunity for any country to increase tourism.
