INTRODUCTION
. Effective people management plays an important role in improving employee engagement,
improve morale, reduce turnover as well as enhances communication within an organisation
(Lepsinger. and Lucia, 2018). It is important to optimally use people management in such a
manner that it yields higher profit. There are various tools and techniques which can help human
resource manager who effectively manage their workforce. This project report is based on crystal
travel, a Travel-based agent in London. This report will cover tools and techniques in order to
improve organisational performance in order to reach shape function of work force so as to
improve staff performance and motivation.

employees and thus Affects organisational performance. If the employees are highly motivated
he can elevate business sales along with building and branding company’s reputation via positive
customer interactions. It sets the criteria which defines the long-term success of company. There
are various tools and techniques which can help Crystal travel in improving organisational
performance.
Performance appraisals – it is one of the most common performance management tool used by
various companies he and considered as potent for combining personal goals with common goals
of crystal travel, but when used correctly hey. In order to get right output from this tool. It is

simplified as it undertakes various opinions of different people instead of just manager’s review.
Key performance indicators – KPI are considered as a perfect performance management tool
which helps in measuring the the performance of organisation, projects, departments, units and
employees in order to fulfil organisational objectives and goals. It may also be used in enabling
performance conversation along with data driven tools.
Personal development plans – Personal development plan is effectively formulated on the
basis of wants, needs and awareness of employs actions which will support in accomplishment of
personal and organisational development. While assessing needs and wants of employees, it
becomes easier for company to formulate an action plan which will help in employee
development along with enhancement of company’s Performance. It is mostly used in
identifying Needs of training and development. By this, company can take corrective actions in
order to enhance employees productivity and efficiency. Various training programmes which
helps employees in sharpening their existing skills along with learning new skills for better
career growth opportunity . It facilitates individuals in setting out the way in which they want to
grow and how they can achieve their personal goals. PDP helps in building more interest in
companies work as well as it improves employee engagement and performance.
