For the Blue Healer resort it is very essential that they implement al the strategies and
action in direction of the sustainability and environment protection. This is very important for the
reason that in case these elements will not be taken into consideration then this will be affecting
the working efficiency of the company (Nishant, Kennedy and Corbett, 2020). Further with the
analysis of the issues identified it is clear that there are issues being faced and this need to be
solved with help of the present resources only. After the inspection of the different areas of Blue
Healer resort the actual or the potential environmental sustainability and resource usage issues
found are as follows-
With the help of evaluation, it is clear that improvement can be brought within the issue
of air and water quality deterioration because of food and plastic wastage. This issue can be
solved with help of managing the plastic and food waste. For this new technology can be
implemented in order to manage the food and plastic waste.
Along with this another actual environmental sustainability issue being found within the
Blue Healer resort is the electricity consumption measurement device. This is pertaining to the
fact that the electricity is a major resource and in case it will not be managed in proper manner
then this will be affecting the working efficiency to a great extent. This is necessary for the
reason that without electricity the work within the resort cannot be undertaken. Thus for the
company it is necessary that the use of proper electricity is being maintained so that it is not
wasted and it improves the working efficiency of resort.
In addition to this another issue which can be changed within the working practice of
Blue Healer resort is the biodiversity loss which includes the contemplating mass fish extinction
and will affect the biodiversity to a great extent (Nilashi and et.al., 2019). This is pertaining to
the fact that when the resort will go vegan then this will be affecting the working efficiency of
the company and will be improving the profits. This is necessary as in case vegan food practices
will be indulged then this will be improving the working efficiency of the company and more
profits will be generated.
