Performance management cycle
Performance management cycle is one of the popular models which help the Management
and Organisation to achieve the organisational goal by following a proper structure of employee
development (Xu, 2020). Performance management cycle is totally different from giving rating
to the Employees apart from just giving rating it focuses on overall development of the
employee. This model follows different stages in the cycle.
Planning
In this stage management decides the overall goal and objective of the organisation and
after deciding the goals that communicate with their employees so that employees can work
according to the goals. This is it also includes personal interest of employees as well as team by
forming specific targets and actions.
Monitoring
In the entire performance management cycle monitoring plays a vital role and it is a key
function through which all the goals the management can get achieved. But monitoring will not
give accurate result if it is done on once or twice in the entire year so management should focus
on monthly and quarterly monitoring so that they can know the progress of work.
Reviewing
This step usually takes place at the end of the year where the management and all the
employees review the targets and goals of previous year and how they have achieved all goals.
So this is another opportunity to get a good communication and collaboration among all the
employees.
Rewarding
This is the final stage of performance management cycle and most important for the
employees. In this state employees get proper rewards of their work with the did to meet the goal
of organisation.
KPI of high performance team
High performance team refers to those team and group which focuses on individual goals
and have some expertise and skills so that they can easily collaborate and produce high quality
work for the organisation.

2018) When employees know the exact time to start the work and to finish the work then only
they can fulfil work on given deadline.
Deployment frequency
Deployment frequency states about initiations taken by employees to fulfil the work. It is
very important for the team that the most used in deployment pipelines of work so that they can
generate quality work for the organisation within the time frame.
Meantime to restore
Meantime to restore refers that there are chances of software failure. But this key
performance indicator focuses that in case if the software get fails then how quickly team can
recover from such failures and do not let their work bother and in the difficult situation how the
team focuses on providing quality work to the organisation.
Change fail percentage
Failure should be unpacked. High performance team see failure as an opportunity to
improvise them. High-performance team works on the combined approach of deploys and
failures. Whenever any subsequent failure take place then the entire team work more effectively
on such failures and try to achieve better outcome from such failures.
