AI Summary
This reflection report delves into the concept of person-centred care in nursing, emphasizing the individual's needs and preferences as central to the care process. Utilizing the Gibbs reflective model, the report examines the impact of biological, psychological, sociocultural, politico-economic, and environmental factors on patient care, referencing the Roper, Logan, and Tierney model. The report describes the importance of understanding these factors for effective patient assessment and care delivery, including the nurses' feelings and evaluation of the models. The analysis focuses on the practical application of the models and factors to improve patient outcomes, including ethical considerations, diet plans, and government policies. The conclusion reiterates the value of person-centred care and the usefulness of the models in future nursing practices.

INTRODUCTION
This reflection report is based on the Person centred care which is a approach to nursing
in which nurse focus on the individual's personal needs, wants, desired and goals to become
central of the care in nursing process. This will include the understanding of the biological,
psychological, socio cultural, politico economical and environmental factors that affect and assist
in future practice while participating in personal centred care. This all reflection report is being
done with the help of the Gibbs model. That is the reflective cycle which has several aims and
give importance to them.
MAIN BODY
Description
This person centred care also referred to the Patient centred care or the client centred care
in order to achieve the care which is person centred. In this nurses need to understand the
biographies of the patients. I identified that nurses have to be take care of the patients as
according to their comfort and choice. In this nurse take care of the person individually. For this
nurses have to be skilled and and experienced to take care the patient personally (Gemeay and
et.al., 2018).
For this Roper, Logan and Tierney model can be applied in nursing. This model is based
on the activities of living such as breathing, communication, elimination, washing and dressing
and etc, these activities outline both the norms for the patients as well as the any changes that is
being occurred from current changes. There are some factors that contribute in affecting the each
activities in daily living.
Biological – This impact on the overall health and illness, injury of the individuals. That the
diabetic person's nutritions, what they have as compared to the other and activities of that
persons that affect them. These all biological factors of diabetic patient are differ from the non
diabetic person this affect the nursing activity that have to more take care regarding the patient.
Psychological – Roper explained that emotion is not only factor that impact but understanding,
cognition, spiritual beliefs and ability to understand all the factors that affect the activity of the
person. For example a person having the paranoid that affect the communication of the person
and also education level affect the patient's daily living activities (Rabinowitz And et.al., 2015).

Sociocultural – Sociocultural factor that affect the daily living activity of the individuals. As it is
the impact of the society and culture which is being experienced by the individual patient. This
include the expectations and values based on the class and status of the living standard and
cultural within the sociocultural factors related to the beliefs. Like washing hand again and is
against for some social cultural environment. All these factors affect and impact the daily living
activities of the patients (Roper-Logan-Tierney Model of Living,2016).
Environmental – The environmental factor which in Roper's model of nursing makes it green
model. That can be affected by the environmental changes. This theory takes into consideration
the impact of the environment on the activities of the daily living but also explored the impact of
daily activity on the environment. Such as living in dirty places. Or the any environmental
change that affect the living activity of the person. That also impact the nursing activity as well.
Politico economic - The politico economic factor includes the governmental; policies, politics
and economic activity of the daily living. This include the funding for the patients, government
policies and program that are made for the patients, war in the country, conflicts, availability of
the resources and benefits that the individual can not get on time because of the war condition
that affect the daily activity of the patients (Kirwan, 2018).
Feeling
This Roper's object model is being used by the nurses as a check list. That if nurses are
uncomfortable to discussed the factors that impact on the patients daily living activity. That lead
to the lack of assessment to taking care of the patients and to know its preferences, as it is not be
addressed carefully.
From the above study I evaluated that these factors need to be understand carefully to
addressed the preference of the patient and to take care as according to need and wants of the
patient. I also understood that this lead to the not treatment properly of the patients. If these
factors are lead to having better understanding that will help the nurses to treat them and to
describe the facts how these factors affect in their daily life activity and to eliminate them from
the daily living (Sanchez-Vazquez, Silva and Santos, 2017). I felt that with the help of this model
nurses get to know hat whether the patient is improving or not and any change that is being made
by her to care provided based on the evidence presented.

Evaluation
But according to the Pulliam, (2018) 5 factors that Ropers described is not as useful for
the nurses to person take care of the patient as coordinating to the choice and wants of the
individual patients. As the communication, breathing, sleeping, playing all are the activity which
are own choice of the patient that not be affected by any other factors, if the changing political
program, governmental policy does not affect the activity of the patients.
Lee and et.al., (2019) stated that factors that is given by the Ropers help the nurses in the
person centred care . As by evaluating these factors that can be affect the daily living activity of
the patient. Nurses can be identify those factors and can control or eliminate them from the daily
living activity to cure and take care of the patients. Knowing those factors help them to taking
care in person centred care.
Analysis
From the above model I analysed that the model is important to understand in order to
treat and give person centred care facility to the patients. I also analysed that with the
understanding of the Roper's model I can be made by own ethics and beliefs that can be used in
future to take care of the patients. I will control the activity of the patients and give them to
healthy eating diet plan as what they like to eat but it would be healthy and low cholesterol. Also
after identifying the factors that impact on the daily activity such politico economical, find out
the government policy and try to make it effective and use for the patient and understand them to
the benefit of the program. With the help of the environmental factors such as environmental
change provide them to use hand sanitisers, or washing hands after any activity and also try to
understand them the effectiveness of the washing hand and to change their daily living activity
(Kirwan, 2018) . Also analyse the impact of those factors, can make effective values that help in
person centred care in taking care of the patients individually.
CONCLUSION
From the above reflection report it has been concluded that person centred care is what in
which nurses cure and taking care of their patient as according to the individual's choice, need
and as according to their time. In this Roper;s domain model help the nurses to identify the
factors that impact on the daily living activity of the individuals. And these factors help nurses in
taking care them by eliminating or to control the activity of the patients. Also concluded that

these model and factors of the model can be used in the future by knowing and having better
knowledge of the person centred care. Also concluded that these can be helpful in the future as in
nursing practices These can be applied can be change in the ethics and norms and way of treat
the patients.
