NP: Now tell me a little about yourself.
Liza: As you can see, I am obese and I am facing difficulties in managing my everyday life due
to my over- weight. I am very much afraid that if I will have a diabetes in future for this diabetes.
NP: Tell me one thing.
Liza: What?
NP: Is there diabetic patient in your family?
Liza: Yes, My father and my mother both have been suffering from diabetes since 2012.
NP: Do you maintain a healthy diet?
Liza: No, not at all. I am very much food-lover and I love chocolate and noodles. However, I am
trying to change my food habit and it is quite difficult for me.
NP: I can understand your difficulties and it is quite appreciable that you are trying to improve
yourself.
Liza: Please tell me about a health food style.
NP: Yes, of course. Do you try any kind of exercise to reduce your weight?
Liza: Yes, I have started morning walk and along with this, I started low carbohydrate diet along
with lot of vegetables.
NP: Can you feel any changes in your condition?
Liza: No, not all. After 2-3 days, I felt very demotivated and stopped to follow that diet.
Although, I am continuing my morning-walk. However, I did not feel any changes.
NP: Don’t lose hope Liza. Losing weight is not a short time process and it actually takes time.
However, it is also true that, if anyone set their mind to lose their weight, they can get that.
However, if anyone gets demotivated about the fact, it is quite difficult to get the goal.
Moreover, you can change your food habit by just replacing some unhealthy foods from your
food chart. You can try swimming along with the walking and it will help you to get result more

Liza: Due to my obesity, I feel shy when I go out with my friends and they all are laughing at

yourself and came here. Don’t worry. A proper diet plan and exercise procedure will help you. I
will make a chart for you.
