INTRODUCTION
The personal and professional development they are demonstrated as the process of
learning to meet the challenges and accomplishing goals. This includes activities of mentoring
organisational and individual goals (Hinojosa-Pareja, and GarcĂ­a-Cano, 2020) . The important
aim of personal and professional development is to help group of individual to manage their own
learning and growth throughout the career. This is very essential for the peoples to continue their
learning as well as to develop their knowledge and skills and in addition make sure that
continuation of work should be done safely, effectively and legally.
MAIN BODY
TASK 1
Discuss short term goals
The personal and professional development they are also known as continuous
professional; development. Professional development they usually focus on enhancing social and
mental skills on the other hand professional development they commonly focus on enhancing
and developing the skills and knowledge which further improve the potential in the working
environment (Bruni-Bossio and Delbaere, 2020) . The personal development they are seem to
be under five categories, which includes spiritual, mental, social, physical and emotional.
Short term goals
The short term goals are those which individuals wants to achieve very soon in a short time
period for example within 12 months or in 6 months. The short term goal is something which
peoples wants to accomplish in the near future (McNamara, Healy and Haegele, 2019). All the
short term goals are short for a purpose. They mostly fill the gap where individuals are right now
and in future where they want to be. The short term goals they help individuals to improve the
quality of work. Examples are mentioned below;
ď‚· My short term goal is to improve my English communication skills and for doing so, I
will take coaching classes for 6 months.
ď‚· My short term goal is to enhance my knowledge skills thus I could apply in any
organization for the job.
ď‚· I have short term goal to to get a respectable position in an organization.

Medium term goals
The medium term goals are those which takes a bit longer,these could be defined as achieving
goals in the coming next 2 weeks, or perhaps 8 months. These goals are accomplished just after
the sequence of short term goals are achieved then further they both build together in order to
form long term goals (Koner and Eros, 2019) . There are several examples of medium term
goals which are mentioned below;
ď‚· My medium term goal is to complete my studies in masters.
ď‚· My medium term goal is to focus on my fitness, for this I will join fitness club.
ď‚· My medium term goal is to save money for the future.
Long term goals
Long terms goals are defined as something individual wants to do in the future or accomplish in
the coming future. At the most fundamental long term goals they require enough time as well as
planning (Ajani, 2019). These goals usually take several years away. These goals are the
aspirations for the individual to keep focus on the future success throughout the career. There are
many long term goals which are mentioned below;
ď‚· My long term is to gain experience in the multinational company.
ď‚· My long term goal is to get hired in a research department.
ď‚· My long term is to improve my work performance.
Personal development planning
The term personal development is demonstrated as the process of making an action plan which
could be based on reflection, awareness, values, and goal setting and in addition even planning
also plays an important role in the personal development in the context of self-improvement,
career, relationship and education. The term personal development is also known as personal
enterprise plan and individual development plan, and further they commonly includes statements
of one's competencies, training, aspirations, and education and these steps specify how a plan is
to be realized (Prodromou, Robutti and Panero, 2018) . The personal development plans they
also includes statements of one 's lifestyle priorities and career, examining of risks and
opportunities, and career positioning as well as alternatives plans. They do makes plans and in
additions measure the performance and increases the quality.

Author- The author has been giving explore knowledge on the specific topics. He is having brief
knowledge as well as developed skills thus to explain to the group of individuals who are
studying (Brewer, McCann and Harwood, 2020). The group of peoples they should understand
the author in order analysis based on the performance.
 Purpose – The important purpose of the author is to understand students and their
behaviour. Students should pay attention to understand the role of work.
ď‚· Reliability- There is need of having reliability on the particular topics for the students
and this could be achieved by studying the references.
Relevance – The research which has been done it should be relevant for both students ans well as
teachers in this way they could enhance the quality of work (Shaw, 2020).
