INTRODUCION
Personal development is consider as activities or procedure that will help an individual in
improving their various factors such as skills, knowledge, capabilities and many more. By
enhancing these factors a person able to conduct their work in effective manner and gain
appropriate employment opportunities (Zepeda, 2013). On the other hand professional
development is consider as process in which skills and knowledge will increase by attaining
professional activities like conference, training sessions and many more. Both the factors is
essential for an individual as well as it will also provide effective employment opportunities
which improve their leaving standard and societal status. For this it is essential for individual to
identify their strength and weaknesses so that they can grab their opportunities and make their
life effective. Along with this it will also help them avoiding threat which a person can face
while conduct their work. For self analysis a person can adopt several methods or theories such
as SWOT analysis, Belbin theory and many more. Along with this topics included in this report
are key skills which are required by academic professional and skills required for readiness of
employment. This assignment will also explain about understanding of personal strength by
adopting SWOT analysis as well as Belbin theory. It will also include personal development
plan which help me in conducting development in effective manner so that I can establish
effective future in medical industry.
THE SHORT AND LONG TERM VISION
My long-term goals are excellent reasons and opportunities. They help me to see in the
future in a few years and to realize that my goal is in the future and now. The first which is very
important to me is the time spent with my family and my loved ones, I want to always not feel
my lack and know that I support them and I am almost in any situation, I want all of us to be
healthy and to have part of a quiet and happy life. The second big goal for me is to get back to
work after finishing maternity leave and to be with those who need a good word and not only.
Short-term goals are the ones you meet every day and which I consider to be a daily routine. To
follow my university course and to get my professional diploma, and even if I know it's a long-
term goal, I intend to go back to health and social care. I worked as a nurse, it was my passion,
but now, to some extent, I changed my plans and I want to do something else in the same sector,
but something else.

POTENTIAL ROLE AND THEIR SUITABILITY
In the industry of healthcare, it is very important to have academic skills because through
it students will gain more confidence and will help them to develop their key skills which are
required for both academic and the practical in hospital. Leaders call these abilities in different
ways, but they are usually divided into eight categories, from which some major of them are
given below:
Comunication - For working effectively at workplace proper communication skills is
very necessary becuase through it I can effectively understand other's view point as well
as it will also help me to convey my messages to other's imprevelly .
Problem solving - It is one of the esential skill which is required by me while I am
working in medical industry because through it I can easily understand as well as solve
problems of my patients and staffs members.
Learning – Through proper learning skill I can learn as well as acquire new things which
help help me in my future and conducting my work effectively.
Self management - Through this skill I can effectively manage my work and accomplish
it in effective manner at peoper time duration which is given. By this skill I can also learn
as well as enhance my knowledge and ability.
Technology - In today's time it is necessary to have technological skills because now all
things are conducted through online and computer. So by having respective skill I can use
computer effectively and conduct work impressively.
Planing and organising - It is essential to have effective planning and organising skills
becuase by this I can handle my patients effectivly and plan things accordingly. Through
respective skill I can also effectively handle each and every situation by developing
strategies respectively.
Initiative and enterprise - It is essential to have respective skills while working in an
organization becuase through this skill i can impress my senior which leads to promotion
and benefits (Bridges and Macklin, 2018). Thorugh this I can also encourage others to
conduct work in effective manner for attaining goal.
Team working - It is essential for me to have team working skills if I want to work in
medical industry becuase at respective sector there are various situation will occur where
I have to work with other members at that time my team working skills will used.

BELBIN TEST
Belbin's theory is about the team and the need for each team to have access to each of
the nine components that make up a strong crew. Belbin's Theory Teams can achieve the highest
performances (St‐Jean, 2012). Belbin is about behaviour at workplace, and it can be change or
improved, the nine subdivisions are:
PLANT – It is define as a creative person with a good imagination and good in problem
solving
SPECIALIST – These are those who are an extraordinary capacity and offer great ideas
MONITOR EVALUATOR- he analyses in detail and sees absolutely all the details,
good characteristic.
IMPLEMENTER- These are those person, slower in carrying out tasks, not too
flexible, he is disciplined.
SHAPER – Peoples having respective factor are always open to the new challenges
COMPLETER FINISHER- These peoples are more focused on the discovery of
mistakes and omissions (Reeves, 2012).
TEAMWORKER- These are those persons who are generally Co-operative, calm,
discreet and polite, observe, builds, averts friction.
COORDINATOR- These individuals are adult, positive, a good administrator, he has
the power of decision making, he delegates role.
RESOURCE INVESTIGATOR- It define as those individuals who are exhibitionist,
passionate, conversational, explores favourable circumstances.
In order to analysis my skills in proper manner I conduct personal Belbin test whose
respect or outcome is given below:-

PARTICIPATING IN MEETING/ BEING AN EFFECTICVE TEAM CONTRIBUTIOR
Team it is a structure which generally when all her members have same goals and they
have synergy. In the field of health, the best way is to work in a team, and it is a process that is
viewed as a dynamic one and includes more professionals and with different and complementary
abilities but having common goals when it comes to health, and physical effort, and focuses on
planning, accessing, and evaluating patients. Team activity can also be called as a component
that facilitates action between different team members. When working in the team, they are
analysed from a behavioural perspective and are a way to produce effective team actions with
binary goals and common goals. Although we have different definitions for teamwork all have
only major issues around them and is based on the existence of a team and helps successfully
accomplish a given task and with the main reason to work in team.
RESEARCH AND LEARNING STYLE
The researcher has several methods for collecting empirical materials, ranging from the
interview to direct observation, to the analysis of artefacts, documents, and cultural records, to
the use of visual materials or personal experience. Health and social care research can help us to
identify people at risk of getting ill and help to prevent illness and to provide the best advice and
treatments for them.

person. By which I am always come up with new ideas and strategies along with this I
also have effective communication skills through which I can properly interact with
patients and other staffs.
Weaknesses- By conducting analysis I get to know that I have several weakness such as I
am impatient, I am also not able to solve problems of others effectively, I am also lacking
in practical knowledge and I also have less technological knowledge. Now I need to
develop strategies and plans in order to develop respective skills in effective manner so
that I can conduct work properly and attain my target.

Opportunities- Through my strength and by improving my weakness I can get several
opportunities such as I can learn new things as well as I will able to enhance my skills
and knowledge. Along with this, by enhancing my weaknesses I can also increase my

Threats- There are several threat that I get to know when I was conducting SWOT
analysis. Threat which I can face due to my weaknesses are like in respective field there
are huge number of competition and due to my imperfection I may get fail in competition
or face decline situation. Along with this another threat for me is in medical industry
there are negative trends will arise so if I didn't have effective skills I will not able to
understand respective situation that will leads to huge loss.

There are various skills which are required by an individual in order to being prepar for
employment at a particular place or organization. From which some major them are given
below:-

health visitor. Along with this it is also necessary to conduct those work is accoridng to
cappablities as well as suitability of a person. This is so because it will help as well as
encourage them to conduct that particular work in effective manner that leads to
attainment of goal properlty (Bridges and Macklin, 2018).

example, the patient's response to the staff who deal with them and the relationship
between them is analysed by the manager or the customers who shop and monitors the
performance of the staff reported to the superiors.

elderly and the family gives you support and all find time to encourage your own work and the
way you treat their relatives, of course it is the appropriate way for the person, you give the
confidence and you respect them you will feel appreciate and work with no stress, resulting the
right way for the person and it is about your knowledge and skills also, the ability to take
responsibilities, and you will find yourself a caring person and on future going to improve more
and more.
