INTRODUCTION
Personal Creativity is manifested in motivation and intention to change objective world into
real interpretations along with the capability to decide when it is useful and not. Personal
creativity depicts as the potential to develop interpretive and thinking ability in a manner that
educators must encourage. This report is an individual personal creativity plan which intent to
develop abilities in research, communication, teamwork, professional approach to study and
academic analysis. During the module in the overall year, I have learnt so many things to
develop myself as an academic student, a creative, a professional as well as a potential
manager.
Throughout the module, several psychometric tests, management theories and practices,
critical approaches and creativity theories, management psychology and academic development
are studied in the overall year. The main reason behind studying all this is to link them with me
so that I am able to reflect on my personal creative abilities, and the way I can develop them in
future career as manager. Apart from this, for developing myself as an academic student,
potential, a creative, and a professional manager, I learnt about the different theories given by
Drucker, Rogers and Amabile which helped in improve my knowledge about creativity and how
to develop it in future. This report covers reflection on tasks, team work and personal creativity
which will help me in my lifelong creative professional career.

Reflection on task
Throughout the module, there are several theories I have studied in theme 3 including
theories given by Amabile, Rogers and Drucker. I have learnt so many things by studying these
theories. According to Rogers, creativity is not restricted to some specific content. According to
him, the definition of creative process is the emergence in action of new relational product or
good, growing out of uniqueness of a person on the one hand as well as the people, event,
circumstance or material of his or her life on other hand. In this, the author considers existing
creativity as crucial human attribute and elucidate what is needed for creativity to become
socially valuable instead of merely something profit driven or instrumental. He said that
“creativity is about flourishing and unfolding, not just impressing and problem solving. It is about
developing”. This statement of author influenced me in emphasizing on my own development
and it also assists in improving my creativity. During the module, while working in the team, ii I
am able to develop my creativity. Three key determinants are stated by Rogers of socially
constructive creativity. These determinants include openness to experience, internal locus of

determinants provided by Rogers, I am able to understand the creativity properly.
Numerous activities are performed throughout the module which helps me in developing
creativity. The Amabile creative model assist in determining and executing creativity. It involves
three factors including creativity thinking skills, dominant relevant skills and task motivation
which help me in performing my work creatively and contributed effectively in the team. I have
learnt from the theory provided by Amabile that creativity needs mixture of all components which
states that when a person remains full of internal motivation about task, then he or she will
unable to utilise his or her dominant expertise as well as creative thinking skills. As per the
article given by Teresa Amabile and Steven Kramer, intrinsic motivation emerges from the love
that an individual love from his or her work. Strong intrinsic motivation among the people help in
doing their work effectively. The central driver of productive performance and creativity is the
quality of inner work life of a person - which means the mix of perceptions, motivations and
emotions over the course of workday.

The theory of Amabile support in ascertaining the way in which a task is to be performed
in more creative way. In addition to this, it helps in development of critical thinking skills which
assist in getting idea regarding how to list out solutions to solve the specific issues and then

team work in much effective manner. This is so because with the help of team working and
coordination skills, I would be able to motivate my team mates and influencing them to provide
me with their valuable and creative ideas. Other than this, in future while working within a team I
use to maintain a regular group discussion so that each individual can discuss their view point
and any problem found can be solved by using different method to perform a task which support
me in building up an effective and creative team. However, sometimes I may be inflexible in
adopting or accepting new ways of working or doing things, specifically when they are
impractical.

By this test, I found that I am good team worker and implementer. Team working
represent as my primary role and implementer represent as my secondary role. I found that I am
a good team worker as I possess a sociable and mild disposition and supportive and concerned
regarding others. I am easily adaptable to the people and situations and have the capacity to
work flexible with others. I am also good listener and because of this quality, I am able to work
in the team with other members effectively. I have contributed in team throughout the module by
avoiding conflict and creating harmony in the team. As a good team worker, my strength is that I
am cooperative, diplomatic and perceptive and listens to everyone which assisted me to work
effectively in the team and contribute my best in performing any activity or task in group. I
placed the objectives of team above my personal interest which contributes in boosting the team
spirit. Apart from this, in my secondary role as an implementer, I am able to plan out workable
strategy and execute it effectively. I contributed to team by using my practical approach and
high level of discipline and self-control. I work hard in order to ensure that all the work is to be
done in prescribed and systematic manner. I learnt so many things some teams and by using
my effective roles of team worker and implementer, I contributed to team throughout the
module. By promoting creativity in the workplace, I will influence creative team development in
the future.

are several activities which are being performed and learn by me in the module.

about numerous theories which are provided by the tutors. While performing the task and
completion of assignment in the best and creative way, I opt for making use of Amabile creative
