INTRODUCTION
Personal Creativity is manifested in motivation and intention to change objective world into
real interpretations along with the capability to decide when it is useful and not. Personal
creativity depicts as the potential to develop interpretive and thinking ability in a manner that
educators must encourage. This report is an individual personal creativity plan which intent to
develop abilities in research, communication, teamwork, professional approach to study and
academic analysis. During the module in the overall year, I have learnt so many things to
develop myself as an academic student, a creative, a professional as well as a potential
manager.
Throughout the module, several psychometric tests, management theories and practices,
critical approaches and creativity theories, management psychology and academic development
are studied in the overall year. The main reason behind studying all this is to link them with me
so that I am able to reflect on my personal creative abilities, and the way I can develop them in
future career as manager. Apart from this, for developing myself as an academic student,
potential, a creative, and a professional manager, I learnt about the different theories given by
Drucker, Rogers and Amabile which helped in improve my knowledge about creativity and how
to develop it in future. This report covers reflection on tasks, team work and personal creativity
which will help me in my lifelong creative professional career.
MAIN BODY
Reflection on task
Throughout the module, there are several theories I have studied in theme 3 including
theories given by Amabile, Rogers and Drucker. I have learnt so many things by studying these
theories. According to Rogers, creativity is not restricted to some specific content. According to
him, the definition of creative process is the emergence in action of new relational product or
good, growing out of uniqueness of a person on the one hand as well as the people, event,
circumstance or material of his or her life on other hand. In this, the author considers existing
creativity as crucial human attribute and elucidate what is needed for creativity to become
socially valuable instead of merely something profit driven or instrumental. He said that
“creativity is about flourishing and unfolding, not just impressing and problem solving. It is about
developing”. This statement of author influenced me in emphasizing on my own development
and it also assists in improving my creativity. During the module, while working in the team, ii I
am able to develop my creativity. Three key determinants are stated by Rogers of socially
constructive creativity. These determinants include openness to experience, internal locus of

evaluation and ability to toy with concepts and elements. By the help of these three key
determinants provided by Rogers, I am able to understand the creativity properly.
Numerous activities are performed throughout the module which helps me in developing
creativity. The Amabile creative model assist in determining and executing creativity. It involves
three factors including creativity thinking skills, dominant relevant skills and task motivation
which help me in performing my work creatively and contributed effectively in the team. I have
learnt from the theory provided by Amabile that creativity needs mixture of all components which
states that when a person remains full of internal motivation about task, then he or she will
unable to utilise his or her dominant expertise as well as creative thinking skills. As per the
article given by Teresa Amabile and Steven Kramer, intrinsic motivation emerges from the love
that an individual love from his or her work. Strong intrinsic motivation among the people help in
doing their work effectively. The central driver of productive performance and creativity is the
quality of inner work life of a person - which means the mix of perceptions, motivations and
emotions over the course of workday.

The theory of Amabile support in ascertaining the way in which a task is to be performed
in more creative way. In addition to this, it helps in development of critical thinking skills which
assist in getting idea regarding how to list out solutions to solve the specific issues and then
evaluating to choose best possible approach. By execution of the theories provided by Rogers,
Amabile and Drucker, I become able to improve my critical thinking as well as creative skills
which support me in performing my future practices or job role much effectively. According to
the Peter Drucker, the demand for knowledge skills and performance of manager have double

and daring innovation of yesterday have become commonplace. The new technology demands
understanding about production principles and their consistent execution by managers. Hence,
at all levels, managers should be able to take decisions which adapt the changes in
environment, full process of new situation and maintains it as continuous process. The learning
from each of the task or theories assist in developing my creative abilities currently and in
future. By this, I am able to know the significance of intrinsic motivation working productively
which assistant development my creative skills that help me in my future.
Reflection on team work
TestMy Creativity test:
By conducting the test to identify my characteristics and abilities of team working, I found
that I am good team worker and implementer. I get good scores in the test in these two areas.
Apart from this, I also test my creative ability by giving test on test my creativity. By giving that
test, I got the creativity score which is 55.92 percent. Both these tests helped me in knowing
about my abilities that how much creative I am and what characteristics or attributes I possess
which helped me in contributed to team throughout the overall module in theme 1 and theme 2.

By giving the test my creativity test, I got 55.92 score which shows that I have the ability to
connect the things which don't have an apparent correction initially. Apart from this, I also have
the desire to improve or change things that each person accept as a norm and the confidence
that I have to push the boundaries beyond the accepted conventions will help me in influencing
creative team development in future. With this learning, I would be able to perform my future
team work in much effective manner. This is so because with the help of team working and
coordination skills, I would be able to motivate my team mates and influencing them to provide
me with their valuable and creative ideas. Other than this, in future while working within a team I
use to maintain a regular group discussion so that each individual can discuss their view point
and any problem found can be solved by using different method to perform a task which support
me in building up an effective and creative team. However, sometimes I may be inflexible in
adopting or accepting new ways of working or doing things, specifically when they are
impractical.
The Belbin Questionnaire:
By this test, I found that I am good team worker and implementer. Team working
represent as my primary role and implementer represent as my secondary role. I found that I am
a good team worker as I possess a sociable and mild disposition and supportive and concerned
regarding others. I am easily adaptable to the people and situations and have the capacity to
work flexible with others. I am also good listener and because of this quality, I am able to work
in the team with other members effectively. I have contributed in team throughout the module by
avoiding conflict and creating harmony in the team. As a good team worker, my strength is that I
am cooperative, diplomatic and perceptive and listens to everyone which assisted me to work
effectively in the team and contribute my best in performing any activity or task in group. I
placed the objectives of team above my personal interest which contributes in boosting the team
spirit. Apart from this, in my secondary role as an implementer, I am able to plan out workable
strategy and execute it effectively. I contributed to team by using my practical approach and
high level of discipline and self-control. I work hard in order to ensure that all the work is to be
done in prescribed and systematic manner. I learnt so many things some teams and by using
my effective roles of team worker and implementer, I contributed to team throughout the
module. By promoting creativity in the workplace, I will influence creative team development in
the future.
Personal creativity
Personal creativity basically refers to the development and innovation of an individual ideas
with the help of past learnings and experiences. This is a very important concept and activity

which enhances abilities and adaptability of an individual. Personal creativity makes the
individual more and more adaptful and increases their efficiencies as they move out of their
comfort zones and perform in a unique manner for attaining all separate objectives. personal
creativity is what I think is the most important and essential phenomena which is needed to be
explored by all individuals’ for moving forward in their lives and for standing out all standing one
step ahead of others in personal or professional scenario. While completing this module, there
are several activities which are being performed and learn by me in the module.
This module helps me in understanding and gaining several information and expertise
about numerous theories which are provided by the tutors. While performing the task and
completion of assignment in the best and creative way, I opt for making use of Amabile creative
model that enables me to identify and impose my creativity efficiently for holding the higher
position and performing the project appropriately. By the help of a creative model that allow me
to develop distinct skills such as motivation, critical thinking and understand the importance and
effectiveness of team work. The creative model used in order to complete the assignment
helped me in developing the best and most efficient critical thinking skills with the help of which I
developed an idea about prioritizing my ideas and listing them in a proper order for future use
and for choosing the best approaches according to the given situation. During the assignment, I
used Belbin’s group development model that and given a test which helped me in determining
my respective job role or my primary and secondary role in which I have expertise and the best
required skills. I found that I am good in team working and implementer role as considered
these as my primary and secondary role.
In order to continue my own personal creativity in future and into lifelong creative
professional career, I will make time for cohesive creative thinking. I will read books and articles
about creativity and learn to pitch my ideas. I will try to develop something every day and find
creative inspirations. I prepare a list of my ideas and worked on the most appropriate one in
order to improve my critical thinking skills. All this will help in continue my personal and
professional career creativity beyond my studies which help me in my life long career.
CONCLUSION
As per the above mentioned report, it has been concluded that personal development of a
student has it core within the learning or knowledge that is gained while university courses and
several activities perform as a part of coursework. This is so because of provide several
chances where an individual become able to enhance their skills and expertise under the
guidance of tutor. Throughout the module there are range of management theories that are
being taught by tutors support a lot in performing team work and developing the team building

and management skills. This is so because the management theories provide idea regarding
ways a particular task can be performed in more systematic manner.
Other than this, module also involve several psychometric tests which support in building
the aptitude, problem solving and critical thinking skills that are very much helpful for a student.
This is so because ion academic duration it supports in performing the class room activities as
well as examinations in more effective manner by remaining attentive and using critical thinking
to answer a particular matter much effectively. Other than this, when it is about professional
development then critical thinking and problem solving skills that get developed through
psychometric test help in ensuring that each and every aspect of an issue get identified and
decision or solution for it to be choose wisely.
