INTRODUCTION
Portfolio of personal development refers to the structured supported process that is taken
into consideration by an individual for reflecting upon their own learning, performance and
achievement to plan their personal, educational and development of career. There are certain
steps which needs to be followed in order to develop personal development portfolio. First of all
set the goals and then prioritise those goals(Cimermanová.,2018). Then set the deadlines for the
time period to achieve it and after that recognise about threats and opportunities. In the further
step, it is required to develop the skills and then use the support network as well. In the last step,
measure the progress. The present report will cover discussion about personal learning and
development on self reflection and also about personal learning and development reflection
approaches. The present report also consist of transferable skills that has created during the
module and also about the skills that needs to be created during the studies of academics,
workplace and personal life as well. Moreover, the report will cover analysis about discussion
about personal development log of learning, CV and action plan as well.
MAIN BODY
Reflection and identification on my approach to personal development and learning
Learning approaches and personal development and learning approaches which basically
includes about the process into systematic manner for enhancing the employees knowledge,
skills and competency which results into better performance within the work context. In order to
develop into the accurate manner, for proper development and personal learning, I have
implemented SMART model which describes about five parameters and it includes specific,
measurable, achievable, time-bound and relevant factor(Kato., 2019). In terms of approaching
towards development at personal level the first thing which I have to do is to set goals and after
that write down on a peace of paper so that I can achieve my target into appropriate manner.
Then I have to perform all those things and activities which are on the positive side for meso that
I can work on my own pace. For improving my existing skills I worked on this parameter and
then made up my mind to finally achieve those targets. During the time period of development I
have learnt from failures and also employ for approach into deeper manner. At the end, I have
aimed for measuring the achievements.

In order to develop a proper planning and strategies which is related to development at
personal level so self learning and development aspect is very important which gives support to
the manager. Skills of transferable level are those skills which refers to abilities or expertise that
can be used in different roles or occupations (Kenyon-Holt., 2015). It basically includes solving
of problems, communication with control at self level. During the module I was able to develop
different transferable skills and it is defined into the following manner:
Communication skills: These are the skills which refer to those kind of abilities which
can be used by an individual while receiving and giving dissimilar types of information. These
skills basically include speaking, listening, empathising as well.
Technical Skills: It refers to those abilities and knowledge which is required to perform
in a specific tasks. Technical skills are helpful in terms of executing task into appropriate
manner. They are practical in terms of nature and is often related to information technology,
mathematical, mechanical or scientific tasks as well. There are some examples of it which
includes designing of programs, programming languages and other tools etc.
Conceptual Skills: It refers to those skills which gives opportunity to an individual to
identify, conceptualise and solves intricate problems. The overall framework of the business get
enhanced through this particular skill.

It is very problematic for me in order to find out the skills that is required to be created
for achieving particular role of job. It is important for me develop required skills in order to
utilise the opportunities by setting achievable goals(Koh and Lee., 2017). I will be able to

into the context of development of my personal and academic skills. Following are the skills that
is required to be develop into the following manner:
Leadership: It is basically a kind of ability of a group and individual for giding and
influencing the followers. This skill support me into the context of ability to gain and directing
the team and mentoring of individuals as well. For achieving higher level of performance and
productivity it is important that to have leadership and team work as well.
