Introduction
Being a general manager at the Dorchester Luxury Hotel in London, I have
successfully contributed my efforts in the development and growth of the
edifice. Being a a manager is not an easy task as it requires diverse skills
and knowledge, in order to handle the work efficiently and effectively.
From present experience of being a manager, I have learnt several new
things and skills which aid me to become a successful administrator. Some
of my own management skills have been enumerated underneath:

Needs for Leadership and Technical
skills
Leadership is the most essential component that is required in
order to direct and motivate the room division staff so as to
manage their work efficiently. They will effectively carry out
the work in the said direction as well as keep the customers
satisfied and happy.

Need for motivation and presentation
skills
In addition to the above, the workers function efficiently only
when they are motivated and directed in the right manner.
Therefore, I have to design several new plans and techniques
so as to keep them motivated and take the best out of them so
as to function effectively.

Every individual has its own set of capabilities and loopholes that determine
its skills and knowledge in the particular field. Analysing them and taking
corrective action is the best part so as to develop and grow for the future
