INTRODUCTION
In this presentation paper, I am taking marketing as a field of my professional interest. Marketing
refers to promoting and selling of goods and services and advertising them in order to extend
their market reach. It is a vast field and offers a variety of roles such as social media marketing,
brand management, Public Relations/ communications, event marketing and many more.
MAIN BODY
Social Media Marketing
Need to monitor the traffic on the brand’s website and makes sure that the traffic
increases constantly.
Work on enhancing the brand visibility of the company on all the social media platforms
such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.
As a social media marketing manager, I will be held accountable for building a whole
community online for the company by planning and initiating digital campaigns.

Analysis of career path of social media marketing
Under this role, I will be taking the necessary decisions regarding the online presence of
the company, and developing engagement tactics to outperform the sales by using social
media platforms. Furthermore, I will be preparing the whole strategy for running market
campaigns.
At last, after getting proper experience in my job role, I can move ahead for the position
of the Communications and Marketing Director of a company.
Under this role, I will be setting and providing a long term vision for making the
marketing strategy for the company. It will be my responsibility to come up with new
ideas and bring creativity and for guiding the entire marketing team.

I think I am creative and tech savvy. I am always eager to learn new things and find
new ways to achieve my personal goals. This will help me finding easiest ways of
carrying out a particular job and further guiding my team to follow the same route. I am
good at adapting to change. These skills can be useful for the role of marketing and
communication director.
How challenges can be overcome with the strengths
In today’s scenario, it has become really difficult for a brand to survive in the cut throat
competition existing in the market. Each and every organization is company up with its
own set of ideas to move ahead in this race. For the same, my video filming and editing
skills can work in the favour of the company to make its content stand out.
My videos are conceptual and engages the audience through the whole video. Moreover,
I can use different tactics and learn new ways which can be added to my strengths and
help the company in reaching its organizational objectives.
One more challenge under this role is keeping up with the originality. My ability to
effectively communicate with audience and constantly keep them in loop while making
other strategies to enhance the market reach of the brand can be found helpful.

CONCLUSION
This presentation paper is based on the social media marketing as my dream career. This helped
me in analysing the career path that needs to be followed for this job role. For this purpose, first I
will need to work as an intern in order to gain knowledge and learn about the social media
marketing, then executive, to manager and finally to the position of marketing director. With the
help of this presentation, I have been able to identify my strengths and challenges that can come
in my way.
