Introduction
This Personal Development plan is going to document a process of a self analysis
developed on the basis of my skills that I have developed through years of educational and
practical trainings that I have received so far. This would present my core competencies based
upon a self reflection and honest appraisal for my strengths and weaknesses (Lejeune, Beausaert
and Raemdonck 2018). Thus, the following Personal Development Plan would constitute of the
honest appraisal of my strengths and my weaknesses with the brief description for the reason for
my personal development plan focused on the degree I have been pursuing as a student of
Business Management program at the University of Hull. This would clear the air about my
interest in working as a Health Service Manager in the NHS Graduate Management Training
Scheme. My core competencies belong to the educational training I have been taking so far and
following would be a reflective of the self assessment done on them only.
Briefing of the Personal Development Plan
The Personal Development Plan developed as per my career graph and my aspirations to
serve as a Health Service Manager for the NHS Graduate Training Scheme would guide through
the stages of my career path (Bouman 2018). This would be done through several stages
including the preliminary personal analysis that would focus on my strengths and my weaknesses
depending on my key competence skills analyzing my strength and weaknesses in an honest
manner.
The next stage would be through the identification and reflection based on my key
competencies further elaborating the set goals in my career path. This would form the basis for
my ambition towards working as a Health Service Manager for the NHS Graduate Management

with their Training Scheme. The new and clear setting of the definable goals would help in the
measurement of my core competencies. The presented Personal Development Plan would shed
light on the accumulated guidance of my skills based on which it would not be hard to
understand the level of my ability to take on my desired job (Megginson and Whitaker 2017).
There would also be a detailed description of my current job role and the knowledge that I have
gathered so far as a graduate student. Although there is no necessity that a person who opts for
the Heath Service Manager in the NHS Graduate Management Training Scheme, given an added
advantage would put my key skills forward than the competing candidates and would thus be
highlighted in this Personal Development Plan.
The final stage would comprise of the setting out of the personal objective in which I
would rationalize and present a formulation of the plan against the core competencies that I have
chosen as my strengths and why I believe that they would be the ones that would help me in
gaining competitive advantage against the others as a Health Service Manager for NHS Graduate
Management Training Scheme (Brockett and Hiemstra 2018). The formulation would hold an
action plan that I have devised based on my core competencies and how I want to develop these

Therefore it is quite required that the person who would serve as the healthcare services
manager within the organisation should be much able to juggle both the business performances

Just like every other policy in every other business follows the path of constant changes given
the advancement in technology and business process, I believe that a person who has had the
access over an organisation and the timings of arranging these changes should be well equipped
in a few key skills and competencies (Arguelles and Bay 2014). These should be of establishing
a proper career with effective communication skills, a much more reliability in decision making
ability particularly within the zones of allocation of funds are organisation of the staff and the
numerous in the ability of analysing if there has been any issues within a project and absorb
further information to understand that if the data helps in identifying the underline trends within
the organisation in the market.

The organisation orphanages mostly search for people across the entire world and
especially the nation in healthcare services. as a graduate engineer I have had the opportunity to
interest upon myself with the degrees foreign undergraduate student of business management
program at the University of Hull (Rezaei et al. 2018). Then I had started a degree for myself on
September 2018 with two degree qualification. These where my specialisation of the two degrees
that I have done in diploma of management from the Queensland academy of Technology in
Australia and the associate degree in hospital administration from Institute of Public
Administration.

The National Health Service (NHS) is the publicly funded national healthcare system for
England and one of the four National Health Services for each constituent country of the United
Kingdom. Worldwide, it considers as the biggest single-payer healthcare system. The initial fund
of this system comes from the system of general taxation and supervised by the Department of
Health. Most of the health care service in the NHS was provided to all legal English residents
freely at the use point. Moreover, some services including infections treatment as well as
emergency treatment are free for all people including visitors.
The role advertised is a health service manager. A health service manager is responsible
for the financial, strategic and day-to-day operating of hospital, community health services or
general practitioner (GP).Additionally, there are different responsibilities depending on the

competencies and also materializing in the way towards my ultimate goal.

Studying the complex system of various organisations including NHS Graduate
Management Training Scheme, I have come to terms that decision making is one of the core

are required for the organisation and the job description and it will be attended
properly by 2 or 3 weeks.
Measurable: The skills and qualities are measurable through the outcomes of the
utilisation of these scales within a project. This particular area can only be
developed through practical approaches and does the entire completion of project
time would mark the measure.
Achievable: The achievable target for the improvement of the key competencies
would be focused to make a difference by two to three weeks.
Relevant: These are absolutely relevant since I think that the qualities I possess
are actually relevant to the requirement of NHS and the degree that I have
acquired.
Time-Bound: The process would be time bound to and extent of 7-8 weeks
maximum.
