INTRODUCTION
Professional development plan is a kind of valuable document by which one can establish
a career development goals and various strategies to meet these career goals. Professional
development plan can help in keeping the career on track and also can help in improving skills
and knowledge in a given period (Rubens and et.al., 2018). Professional development plan are
formally created by the managers who is working closely with its staff members in order to
identify the necessary resource and skills in order to support their career goals and meet
organisation's business needs. Present report discusses about the learning style and its
implications on personal development and evaluation of ones own skills and competence. This
report also includes plan for future and reflection of entire learning.
TASK 1
Evaluation of learning styles and its implication on personal development
Learning style may be defined as the range of contested and competing theories which
aim to account for differences in individual learning. Learning style is a term which is widely
used to describe how a learner can gather knowledge, interpret, sift through, organise and come
to conclusion and store information for the future. There are various types of learning styles
which an individual can apply in order to improve its knowledge and skills in the future. The
learning style used is Visual and Aural (Rimmer, 2018). Visual preference includes the
discrimination of the information in the diagrams, maps, charts, labelled diagrams, circles and
other devices which people use represent the information. This is the easiest way of learning
things as people easily memorises what they observe. Such people learn best when they have an
image or cue which help in processing the information. Another learning style is aural or
auditory style, this mode describes a preference for gaining the information which is heard or
spoken. Learners who has got preference in this area learn best from lectures, emails, radio,
discussions, web chat and learn things through.
Comparing the results the best learning style is visual learning style because it provides
spatial sense and sense of direction and one can easily visualise the objects, plans and outcomes
which can help is easy learning (Kharadze and Gulua, 2018). I learn the new material by
applying both of the learning style such as visual and aural learning style which has helped in
learning new things. I have learned new thing by using my phone as is the easiest source for me
to learn a new thing as I can use both learning style by watching the instructions and hearing

time. I gave up reading the instructions which I got a sufficient knowledge and that knowledge
can be applied in practical life. It is the best point at which one should give reading instruction
when every thing in understood by an individual. The instructions which I have learned have
proved to be very useful to me as I did not have the complete knowledge about how a task is to
be performed but by going through the instructions I was able to improve my skills and
knowledge related to a job. I have added skills and knowledge during work as I was able to
remind the thing that I have observed and heard while going through instructions. My learning
style has helped me a lot during work as I found it easy to learn the things by observation and
hearing them and by this method I was able to clear my doubts related to my job. The most
effective way of learning new methods, technologies, legal and commercial requirements is
using Visual and Aural learning style as I will be able to see and hear the contents related to
them.
There are various skills and knowledge which is lacked by the employer like the lack of
communication skills as employer was not able to communicate smoothly with employees and
this has resulted in the communication gap within the organisation (Kathol, Squire and Dehnel,
2018). Employer also lack the skills of self management and lack the knowledge about the
management of the organisation. So, these are the areas which requires training and
developmental programs for the employer.
TASK 2
Evaluating skills and competence
I already knew that I am a good persuade as I was form very beginning of my life was
able to persuade others easily and even I have participated in many tasks for which I was chosen
a team leader and I was able to persuade my team mates to achieve the goals of the tasks that
were assigned to me by using good communication skill. I also loose heart if others are not
cooperating as, I give my 100% to get the work done, while performing a task when I was
chosen a leader there were some team mate who were not willing to cooperate and that thing hurt
me a lot as I was always a good team worker. Being a leader of different tasks, it was me who
had to take initiatives and in never waited for others. There are various things which I need to
know like I need to know how could I solve the problems of other such as my team mates and
other employees of an organisation and also how should be capable to provide creative solution
