INTRODUCTION
Personal development plan (PDP) refers to an action plan individual creates in order to
effectively undertake their personal and professional development. PDP is a very valuable tool
for academic and professional purposes. This is because individual can identify and plan what
skills and knowledge individuals require to develop in order to achieve their academic and
professional goals and objectives. My Smart Goals includes-
Developing oral communication skills within 3 months
Developing effective research skills within 5 months
Developing time management skills within 8 months
These are certain goals that I have developed and these goals will help in both academic as well
as in professional life.

Participating in workshops and programs for skill development- This is one of the most
important strategies for developing skills. There are several types of programs and workshops
that help students and others to develop their skills. I can also develop my skills by participating
in such workshops and programs (Kaidi and et.al., 2019). In addition to this such programs also
provide certificates which can be utilised for the purpose of referencing.

that I can use for developing skills is learning by doing. In this style individuals learn when they
