PERSONALISED LEARNING
Week 1
The week 1 of the session was very interactive as in this one activity was conducted in which
information about project was shared. It was very useful for me as this helped me to understand
the ways in which research is conducted, data are gathered and assignments are written. Along
with this, writing various researches, thinking about problems, collecting data, analysing
sources and properly putting things at place were in the session. It fits within my academic
studies as while studying I have to prepare various assignment through studying about the
external factors and market situations. All this requires extensive research and in this session I
learnt new aspects of conducting research. Research skills plays important role in academician
life as it provide ways to build knowledge, facilitate learning, aiding towards success,
nourishing mind and proving lies addition to supporting truths. Moreover, to further develop my
research skills, I will follow some procedure that are setting schedules and programs, posing
thesis, drawing an outline, visiting various sources, using basic directors, following diverse
writers, seeking groups, adopting new technologies, writing recorded research information and
putting all in order. With the help of this procedure, I will be able to develop my research skills
for future career.
Week 2
In the week 2 of the session, discussion was done related to tackling things in extreme
dynamic situations. This session was very useful for me as in this I learned about various
aspects in which uncertain situations are tackled without any hesitation. Building positive
beliefs in own ability was taught in the session and it was the best thing I learned from it.
Being a business student, it is important for me to know wide number of ways for overcoming
with uncertainty that can hamper my workings and determinations. Resilience skills plays
important role in academic study of an individual as to meet as well as overcome issues to
attain academic goals. Further, the ways in which I can develop my resilience skill in
upcoming duration involves keeping positive attitude, reframing stressful thoughts,
developing moral compass, facing fears, working in supportive social network, prioritising
physical wellbeing and playing with strengths. Moreover, making things at priority, learning

from failures, cultivating curiosity, setting realistic expectations, exercising things and
engaging with experiences personality will also help in development of resilience skills for
further workings and projects.
Week 3
In week 3 of session, various experts took part and they interacted with all the participants. In
this, I learned about importance of communication in personal life. The session was found
useful to me as I understood about importance of communication an academician life. The
experts shares various benefits of communication and some of communication styles.
Communication is all about exchanging opinions, facts along with emotions with other people.
As a business student, it is very important to have communication skill so that they can ask
questions immediately, share valuables and suggestions to other people by using words, actions
together with facial expressions. The session helped me to set some procedures or ways to
improve it in further durations. To improve communication skill, I will take classes, read
magazine articles and make it a priority. Along with this, I will also simplify my messages, get
engage with readers and listeners, timely responding, developing listening skills also, emphasis
on maintaining eye contact and using verbal aspects to communicate that will help me in
development of the skill further. I will also ask for honest feedbacks, use PIP approach and
engage my audience in various discussions that will foster my communication skill to huge
level.
Week 4
Session of Week 4 was helpful for me as I learned about problem solving in different situations.
Within the session, different teams were made and various numbers of problems were
discussed. The problems were basically related to students and business. This was very useful
for me as I learned wide tactics for solving problems that I faces and can face in upcoming
duration. As a business student, it is essential for me to exert control on uncertain situations and
fix aspects that are not relevant that will also benefit me in upcoming academic and
employment career. By attending the session, I gained knowledge about the activities that are to
be implemented in the situation wherein I do not know what to do. By considering my present

level of problem solving skill, it plan to develop it further. There are various ways for
developing the skill that were told me by the experts in the session. By implementing solution
after discussing it with other people and attaining logical answers will help me to develop it for
my further career. Moreover, through mind mapping for the purpose of visualising problems
and then executing solutions will also help in development of the skill.
Week 5
Herein, main emphasis was on negotiation skills. The session was useful for me as I learnt how
to negotiate for reaching towards a particular conclusion. In the session, the expert team asked
the group audiences to prepare dialogues for making us understand the importance of
negotiation skills. It fits in my academic study as while competing any task in practical manner,
I have to go through situations in which negotiation is required. Along with this, with the help
of the skill, I will be able to settle disputes along with reach on final agreement while working
in company or setting own venture. Earlier, I was only thinking that there is only one type of
negotiation that is management negotiation but after attending the session, it improved my
understanding for different negotiation types. Moreover, considering my ways of negotiation I
planned to develop it further by taking part in situations wherein negotiation is required. Along
with this, I will analyse pertaining issues, practising to build rapport, strengthening willingness
for compromise, exercising working with confidence and learning other weaknesses will help
me top develop the skill for further aspects.
Week 6
Session of Week 8 was related to creativity and ways it can be improved in an individual. The
right mixture of creativity encourages people for learning new things. Creativity is all about
using imagination together with original ideas for creating some things that has huge values.
The session was useful for me as in this I developed knowledge about importance of creativity
in present and upcoming years. It fits best in my academic studies as it helps in completing of
workings and assignment in attractive manner as well as with smart ways. This will result in
attaining god grades and achieving various objective also. As I am very creative but existences
of some situation restrict my creativity to perform actions that assisted me to plan for

developing it. In order to strengthen the creativity of mine, I planned to use successful
approaches that are media oriented programs, training programs, extensive meta analyses and so
on. Along with this, I am also planning to take part as well as creating program for the purpose
of improving creativity of mine.
Week 7
The session was considered as most useful one as in this I learned managerial skills that are key
for an individual. Managerial skills are the abilities which is a person posses for performing
managerial operation in the company. It absolutely fits in my academic studies as at present I
am studying business and information about abilities and capabilities of managers are important
for me to understand. With the help of managerial skills, ways to conduct activities on time are
performed successfully by an individual. As I have short term goal to become president of my
university, the skill will help me to manage events and conduct them properly. Along with this,
I also learnt how to delegate workings with others and encourage people to accomplishing
practices for attaining determined state. As per my interest in becoming a manager or owner of
venture, I planned to develop it further. For this regards, I will focus on cultivating self
awareness, building trust, becoming better communicator, carving out reflection time and
expressing thoughts effectively.
Week 8
Within the week 8, discussion and activities were performed for providing insights about
decision making skills. I found the session very useful as decision making is required in all
situations whether it is important or not. In this session, I gained the significance of decision
making skills in an individual. Decision making is one of cognitive process that leads to
selection on particular belief among diverse available alternatives possibilities (Kucirkova,
2018). Presently, I am business student and in coming years I can either become an
entrepreneur or executive of a company. All this depends on the decision that are and will be
framed by me. This fits appropriate in my academic studies as having effective decision making
skill will divert me from falling into diverse situation as well as will save my career life. As
decision making skill is pro-vital in uncertain scenario, this assists me to develop it for further

purposes. By taking part in various discussions, entertaining other doubts, giving options,
arguing for thoughts and many more will help me to develop my decision making skills for
upcoming periods.
Week 9
In this session, main focus was on developing insights to manage time in different activity and
aspects. Time management is a concept that includes planning as well as working on conscious
control for the spending timings on particular activities and tasks that will enhance efficiency,
productivity together with effectiveness (Harden and Laidlaw, 2016). I found the session very
useful as it helped me in managing my limited time in various activities or tasks. It fits well in
my academic studies as education life is considered as busy life in which various activities,
decisions and operations are undertaken at different duration. In the session, the guest speaker
shared various experiences of life that assisted them to manage their times in different
workings as well as effectively dealing with inevitable challenges. As per my busy life and
huge work load, I plan for development of time management skills so that I can concentrate on
all activities as per the needs and requirements in distinct period. Along with this, development
of time management skills will help me to prioritise important activities and completing them
effectively. To improve the skill, I will delegate tasks, prioritise work, set deadlines, seal with
stress and avoid being multitasking.
Week 10
It was the last week of the session that well very happily and assisted in essentials of
Administrative and financing skills in present durations. Hereby, the speakers provided us the
information about how to apply administrative as well as financing skills in day to day
situations. It was a useful session as it assisted to avoid financing in unrequired and less
important activities. Along with this, it also fits best in my academic study as being a student, I
have to to focus on spending money in various transactions and also have to oversee that my all
the assignments are completed on time and in effective manner so that I can gain good grades.
As I have to manage limited funds in various activities along with oversee entire schedule, I
planned to improve my administration together with financing skill for further purposes. There
